Trumpworld is roiling with finger-pointing and suspicion over a possible informant in Mar-a-Lago: report

Rolling Stone spoke to four people close to Trump about the former president's growing paranoia over being surveilled.
The issue has become a focus of intense scrutiny as Trump and his circle reel from the FBI's raid on his Florida home on Monday.
One of Rolling Stone's sources — an unnamed Trump advisor — said that some close to Trump have been asking for warnings to be passed on to the former president not to trust some of those around him.
The messages, per the source, encouraged Trump to question specific people to see if they were in touch with the FBI.
"I'm getting a lot of messages saying, 'This guy must be the informant,' and others calling for the president to start doing phone checks of his staff," the advisor told Rolling Stone.
"To be honest, a lot of it feels like people trying to screw over the ones they don't like."
According to the outlet,
Trump's suspicions about being monitored are longstanding. But they have been given new life in the wake of the raid.
The Wall Street Journal and
Newsweek reported this week that
an informant close to Trump may have tipped off investigators, telling them what documents they could find on the property and their location.
In the meantime, conservative figures like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Sean Hannity on Wednesday were raising questions about a possible Trumpworld informant.
Hannity speculated on his Wednesday night show about whether this informant existed, while Greene raged about the issue during a live stream.
"Who is that, and how many other FBI informants are around President Trump on a daily basis, working at his clubs, working at Mar-a-Lago, or maybe Bedminster, or on his staff?" Greene
said.
"These are the things I want to know. Because they're traitors. They are traitors, and they're helping the deep state," Green added. "These are the enemies within. These are the real enemies, and they are there to purposely — purposely, create something against President Trump that is not there."
The FBI has not given a reason for why the search of Trump's former residence was carried out.
Numerous media outlets and Eric Trump have, however, suggested that the search concerned material that Trump may have taken to Mar-a-Lago from the White House.
In February, the National Archives
retrieved 15 boxes of documents from the former president's Florida residence. It also
requested that the Department of Justice investigate if Trump broke the law by bringing these documents to Mar-a-Lago.
