Trumpworld is roiling with finger-pointing and suspicion over a possible informant in Mar-a-Lago: report

  • People in Trump's orbit suspect one of their number helped the FBI, per Rolling Stone.
  • An unnamed advisor told the outlet some Trump allies are warning him not to trust those around him.
  • "A lot of it feels like people trying to screw over the ones they don't like," the advisor said.
People close to President Donald Trump are consumed with suspicion and finger-pointing over the possibility of there being an informant in Mar-a-Lago, per Rolling Stone.

Rolling Stone spoke to four people close to Trump about the former president's growing paranoia over being surveilled.

The issue has become a focus of intense scrutiny as Trump and his circle reel from the FBI's raid on his Florida home on Monday.

One of Rolling Stone's sources — an unnamed Trump advisor — said that some close to Trump have been asking for warnings to be passed on to the former president not to trust some of those around him.

The messages, per the source, encouraged Trump to question specific people to see if they were in touch with the FBI.

"I'm getting a lot of messages saying, 'This guy must be the informant,' and others calling for the president to start doing phone checks of his staff," the advisor told Rolling Stone.

"To be honest, a lot of it feels like people trying to screw over the ones they don't like."

According to the outlet, Trump's suspicions about being monitored are longstanding. But they have been given new life in the wake of the raid.

The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek reported this week that an informant close to Trump may have tipped off investigators, telling them what documents they could find on the property and their location.

In the meantime, conservative figures like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Sean Hannity on Wednesday were raising questions about a possible Trumpworld informant.

Hannity speculated on his Wednesday night show about whether this informant existed, while Greene raged about the issue during a live stream.

"Who is that, and how many other FBI informants are around President Trump on a daily basis, working at his clubs, working at Mar-a-Lago, or maybe Bedminster, or on his staff?" Greene said.

"These are the things I want to know. Because they're traitors. They are traitors, and they're helping the deep state," Green added. "These are the enemies within. These are the real enemies, and they are there to purposely — purposely, create something against President Trump that is not there."

The FBI has not given a reason for why the search of Trump's former residence was carried out. Numerous media outlets and Eric Trump have, however, suggested that the search concerned material that Trump may have taken to Mar-a-Lago from the White House.

In February, the National Archives retrieved 15 boxes of documents from the former president's Florida residence. It also requested that the Department of Justice investigate if Trump broke the law by bringing these documents to Mar-a-Lago.

Conservative Journalist John Solomon first reported Thursday afternoon that Trump was sent the subpoena months before the FBI searched his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida earlier this week. The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the subpoena was related to documents that Trump's legal team discussed with Justice Department officials at a previously reported meeting in June.

Those officials were "coming down to retrieve the documents that were being requested" in the subpoena, the source said.

Citing "two sources briefed on the classified documents" sought in the subpoena, the New York Times reported Thursday that federal officials were prompted to conduct the search of Mar-a-Lago because the material was particularly sensitive to national security.

The little chicken shit weasels cannot stop a mass shooting with red flags stacked to the rafters in their office because they're too busy with school board parents. But they're so scared of Trump they wait until he's not home to raid based on a process he's been complying with closely with the FBI.

I guess the real difference here is I would feel the same way if Trump pulled this crap on Bidens home.
Come on man. There's zero reason to have sympathy for lifetime career criminals.

George Conway asks followers for Trump 2024 campaign slogan ideas -- here are the funniest suggestions

Conway got the ball rolling with his own suggestion, which was, "Take the Fifth 440 Times and Fight," a reference to the fact that Trump invoked his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination more than 400 times during a civil lawsuit deposition on Wednesday.

One of Conway's followers quickly chimed in with a play on former President Ronald Reagan's winning 1984 campaign message: "It's Suborning Again in America."

Another follower, meanwhile suggested a play on one of Trump's own campaign refrains while incorporating the FBI investigation into the former president illegally taking classified documents with him to Mar-a-Lago: "Promises Made, Classified Documents Kept."

Follower Greg Joslyn, staying with the theme of Trump's handling of classified material, suggested, "A Torn Up Document in Every Pot."

Follower Linda Williams pitched a slogan that incorporated a potential prison sentence for the former president: "Trump... 20 to 24 years."

And Berkeley law professor Orin Kerr thought that Trump's 2024 run could be accurately summed up as, "Return to Abnormalcy."

Ron Paul is a libertarian, which is pronounced “naked fascist”.

learned a new term!

LOL, libertarianism is the opposite of fascism. Socialism would be closer to fascism if you took race out of the definition of fascism.

From the crazy article you posted:
"(Note: Not all libertarians become fascists nor were all fascists once libertarians.)"
