Manicuring Buds...How much?

Well, harvest is among us and I have a few manicure questions.

When cutting leafs, I always cut all the fan leaves off and leave all excess leaves tightly surrounding the bud, I do this because there is a considerable amount of crystals on them..but will this effect taste much? Some ppl say leafs will fuck the smell of ur plants, etc etc.

But is just cutting all leaves with visible stems and keeping the leaves tight to the bud worth it? Or does it just make it taste like shit..?

if you leave to much leaf on you'll get a more grass taste when you smoke it. you can always cut all the leaf and save it to make hash

I remove all leaves as close to the bud as possible. It makes the smoke as leaf free as possible, saves on the harhness and headache. Save all your clippings and make hash. There are plenty of threads about making hash and a bunch of different ways to do it.

I cut all the leaves except for the tiniest if tiny leaves. The ones that almost seem like they belong there, they blend in. And even the one's that are left on are usually clipped, never the whole leaf unless it's REALLY small. Here's an example:

I don't "do" hash. SO will leaving a bit of the small leaves on the bud hurt at all? I hate to toss the trichs!!

No it won't hurt. Like another poster said you may just get more of an organic, grassier taste. Sometimes I noticed the more leaves left on, it seems to smoke a bit harsher. but no it won't hurt.

AWESOME king!! The high is incredible, mildly hallucinogenic even. Very UP, heart pounding, sometimes slight paranoia, productive high but you can also sit down and read if you want, fair body buzz but not strong like an Indica dominant bud would be; fairly long lasting (2-3 hours). Smoke too much and things become very confusing, a roomful of people can be insane!! LOL

The buds smell like pine with a slight citrus/lemony aroma but sweet at the same time; really unique. The smoke tastes like the smell. Big time lung expander. The smell of the smoke is only what I could call bizarre, it's hard to describe, very organic smelling. Doesn't smell like you've been smoking bud.
