Manchin is leagues better than his Republican opponent. In any case, he serves West Virginia and they are the only ones who have a say in who represents them in the senate.
If Progressives(TM) want to hold that seat, they had to win the primary. They lost by a double digit margin. Assuming he wins in November, they will have to wait 6 years before they can take another crack at him. That's a long time to hold a grudge. Pad is just venting. As usual, much about nothing.
His anger is misplaced anyway. The reason we have a conservative SCOTUS is because of Republicans, not Manchin.

Then why does every test say I'm extremely liberal? Hating white people isn't a requirement on that test. Even answering pro-life didn't knock me out. Catholics used to be pro-life as a given, and always voted Democrats no matter what.
