I think the fact that I've been growing in my own house for 16 years kinda shows my commitment to supplying my own meds even with the risk of possibly losing my house to do so. I'll never buy from an LP and only buy from dispensaries to sample different strains before I commit the time and energy to grow them out. That's how I found out how good hi-CBD pot is for my needs. I've spent a total of around $240 on pot from them. $80 of that was for 2 - 10ml vials of CBD vape juice. Really nice for long drives as it relaxes me and seems to really help with focus while keeping the joint pain down with no hint of a buzz.
I haven't run out of pot in 30 years at least. If I wasn't growing it I knew people who were and earned lots by helping with grow chores and moving some of the excess. A few of those people were badass biker growers too with some serious connections. Some of their friends were trying to coerce me into running a meth lab because of my chem diploma and about that time the old lady wanted to get out of BC to get away from her pedo hubby before he got out of jail and came after the kid. We had to move anyway and she had friends in northern Alberta so here I sit.

I'm not so concerned about them coming after me but it's the unexpected situation like a break in, house fire etc that gets a lot of people caught.Exactly my thoughts. Are they going to get warrants for every house to check for plants? It'll only be a problem if the cops are coming in for something else. The law requiring registering rec rows will die from non-compliance. It's just not enforceable, discriminatory and probably violates several charter rights. They can't find 98% of the BM grows now, why would they waste the resources once it's legal. The police focus will be on large-scale commercial bm grows, imo.
