That's a boy alright. When the pre-flowers grow on a stalk like that you can be sure. Female flowers are right up against the stalk when they first emerge. Male flowers can too at times and makes it harder to determine sex until hairs pop out.

Congrats or condolences depending on what you were after.

:peace:

That's a cluster of male preflower. They began showhing at sign of maturity regardless of photoperiods.. (veg mode) while famale can take up to a month later to show female sign when not put in flower.. The diffrence between bot flowers are hard to see in pre flower form. But female flower 'spathe' start bulbing at the jonction and do not have a visible pedicule. While male cluster bulk up on a 'pedicel' (stem like organ) it is a male. I have just finish cloning one to isolate with female clone to make seeds. So i could keep the male for later

Usually they look like bananas and balls.
This is later on when male is mature ans put into flower. It will creat more cluster and eventually open up 4-6 weekes later. In early stage of maturity around week 6 preflower start to form in nodes they are infertile at this point and are no big cause for alarm. On second up coming of flower cluster you will have that banana looking flower.

If it was a male and looked the way it did on Sunday, how would you explain that it has not opened yet and released pollen?
I don't see stamen in the 1st or 2nd pic. They would have opened by now if they were.

Yo buddy. Flowers can take 1 month to open up and preflower don't have pollens. That's why. I bet your plant is in veg mode to. So the flower will most likly die before it opens up.. It's not rocket science
