Male Marijuana Plants

hey everyone, i have a few questions that i need answered. Please!!

1.) Do male plants produce bud?

2.) Do male plants produce seeds?

3.) If they do produce seeds, are all the seeds going to turn out male?

Males will give you no significant amount of bud, but alot of seed and pollination will definitely happen.

No, the seeds aren't 100% guaranteed male.

so it is true that the male plant produces seeds, so if i have a male plant that is not even close to my females (in a different city) , i can harvest those seeds to use for next years grow??? cause that is the only reason i have not cut my male plant down. its a rhino cheese plant(white rhino x cheese x florida kush) which is a fucking dank strain i want forever lol.

ok wait... lol I am high. Just smoked some great G-13, sorry but the male will give pollen to your girls which in turn produce the seed

lol if u want 2 produce seeds you need 2 cut off the males '' balls'' when hes ripe. then u put the pollen on the females pistol. u might as well put it on every pistol on the plant as the plant will put soo much more effort to just makeing seeds. the bud quality will suffer heavely for it but ull have that strain of seeds. u will lose up to 90% of bud (off the femal u pollenate) by doing this but u will probly end up with alot of good seeds.

use a que tip to apply the pollen (wet the que tip first) u dont need alot of pollen, as u dont want it o float 2 ur other females and make them produce seeds also.


but males arent rly that good at all, they have alot less thc content in them. they dont rly produce buds at all, idk if they even do for sur. the best thing 2 use males for is 1 if u wanted seeds and 2 to put the leaves/steams in2 a mulch pile (clip off all the '' balls'' first).

NO leroy is wrong, males do not produce seeds, males only produce pollens sacks. if you want seeds you pollenate a female plant with male pollen.

hahah alright thanks guys, im going to go buy a dank ass clone from a dispencery and make it bud quick before my male actually starts producing more balls. cause my male plant showed one ball about a month ago and that was it...which is wierd cause i had another male last year that once it showed one ball there were at least 50 more lol. now when u have a male pollinate the female, do those seeds have a 50 50 chance of being female?

Yes. 50/50. Just dont stress the seeds or plant when it sprouts

i think you can store pollen, so you dont have to be in a hurry to get a female plant. atleast thats what people tell me, go to my profile and look in my started threads.

Chop that dirty male and make hash out of his stupid ass lol you wanna keep your strain going, use clones. I wouldn't risk ruining a crop with male pollin all over the place.

I am assuming you aren't growing a mass quantity so you probably want all the sweet sweet cheeba you can get.

Look up how to clone...basically taking a branch off a mother plant (make sure she's female, or else it wouldn't be a mother) and putting it in root horomone to make a whole new plant. Like a starfish or some shit i dunno watch animal planet...

the only female plants i know of are at least 20 miles away, so im not going to pollinate my others however i did say i am going to buy a clone to get polinated with this male, so i can have my own seeds for next years grow....
