I'm new to scrog tbh, I've mainlined before. So you fill the net then flip. Would you chop everything under the net?. So when you flip it's just a couple of nodes above the net is it. I have Zeus pro 600w and migro array 8. Good lights always great results. I've just never completely filled the area which is a waste. I hate look at a gap and thinking a couple oz would fit in there. Why have four colas per plant with you could double, triple or more with LST+topping anything that outgrows other branches, but you wouldn't even need to top if you scrog all that growth, and only lollipop the undergrowth that amounts to not much at all, focusing water nutrients etc to the stuff that receives light...is my way of pretty much doing what you do to an extent...and brings in very good yields, i now personally fill the scrog 100% then flip, it just looks so much better IMO but depending how much time you have and how much she stretches and how much light you have all comes into play... 12 plants should fill that space prertty quickly, what lights you using?
I was thinking that exact same thing 50 doesn't seem muchAs above most nets are just support nets 50 sections in that size space is pointless as a scrog net 3” squares are best for a scrog
Do you have a pic of the scrog net?
My guess is that it's a trellis net.
Exactly what I'm looking for man. Have good sherbinski genetics there I want to push to the maxI get the plastic netting from hydro shop, its super cheap and strong but with smaller squares, even tho bigger ones did work, dunno about 50 tho...prob not so well as stated, I'll remove some lower stuff before flip, and whatever doesn't make it to the top week 2 or 4 flower..doesn't matter when so much but i do it on the early side while the big stretch is ending, use a second net for support.
Pic 1 day before flip
Pic 2, 14 days later.
Personally my yield goes up quite afew ozzies or so this way.View attachment 5288661View attachment 5288662
Looks great but how the hell do you reach the back?I get the plastic netting from hydro shop, its super cheap and strong but with smaller squares, even tho bigger ones did work, dunno about 50 tho...prob not so well as stated, I'll remove some lower stuff before flip, and whatever doesn't make it to the top week 2 or 4 flower..doesn't matter when so much but i do it on the early side while the big stretch is ending, use a second net for support.

He probably has automated feed on a timer. I would never bend down and feed my plants 5 times daily willingly! That's a slaves job!Looks great but how the hell do you reach the back?
Nah I mean ho does he reach the back to fill the scrogHe probably has automated feed on a timer. I would never bend down and feed my plants 5 times daily willingly! That's a slaves job!
He's using trellis, not a scrog net. This is a typical scrog net in a square frame, I usually do two layers. I like bigger squares, I find it's easier to tuck and move them around. First one to tuck in veg and early flower and the second one to support the tops. Current:Nah I mean ho does he reach the back to fill the scrog
Stellar man, you'll be smoking for a long time on that batch. That's my goal. I got the scrog net today. Did you flip to flower before filling the net
Idk about other tents but Secret Jardin can be opened 3/4 all the way around to reach all sides.Looks great but how the hell do you reach the back?
