Oh! This grow is current! When I hit the end, I thought you had abandoned it (found thread by google: White Widow Mainline, research for my upcoming grow)!

Subbed. Hope the early training works out for you!

Nice Yankee, Google ups, haha. What I was trying for the Cataracts as there`s not much at all. I`ll be awaiting the next update brother. Puff, puff, pass ---> my first batch of Blueberry Burmese I bred with a friend :joint:

Glad to have you along for the ride! Yes, it is a current grow so you are just in time.

Looking good Yankee :D cant wait to see this baby in flower, should be a good ride!!
Thanks EC, appreciate your support. If it turns out half as good as your recent cross run I'll be happy!

Yeah KC, almost famous ;)! Don't know if you've seen my other grow journal but I've got a couple of Mandala strains that I am documenting (see sig) since a search months ago turned up very little for me. Mmmmmm...blueberries - enjoy man!

Mother took a nap today so I was able to spend some time with my other girls today. Decided to upcan this girl from a 1gal to a 3gal pot in preparation for the move to flowering this week. I am working with a new organic soilless mix so there may be some drama waiting in the wings - if anyone wants details let me know and I'll post the recipe.

Here is the rootball after freeing her from the 1 gal pot:

Now with some stretching room in a 3gal pot, top dressed with some black gold:

Top view. The eight new tops are coming in and she should be ready for flower by the end of the week.

You`re not going 16 with that strain Yankee!? She`s a stretchy girl as I`ve seen (EC could vouch better I`m sure), you could easily top again by the sounds before flower or just into, wouldn`t affect you one bit ... :D

She could definitely spend some more time in veg as the flower room will be tight for a few more weeks so training for sixteen is certainly an option.

This girl is a cross of White Widow and Big Bud. I think EC is running a cross of Norther Lights and Blueberry - or were you referring to a different grow of his?

I had forgotten this was WWxBigBud, they actually have similar growth traits though. You wouldn`t evn need to veg longer, they grow like crazy for the first couple weeks of flower and I feel it`s safe to train and prune up to week 3 personally. If you have the space in flower, she`ll get a good size already with how you trained her :). Nice job again mate, thanks for correcting me :)

Thanks for the guidance KC, you've got me on the fence. I think if I do expand beyond eight mains I will leave her in veg for a while longer to bulk up, expand her root system and make more room in flower.

Hey yankee. I seen you on KC's thread, sorry I haven't checked you out sooner. Looks like my timing is pretty good though. Subbed and let the show begin.

Hey Stone, welcome to the thread. Pull up a chair and join in as actively as you wish! Haven't decided yet if I am going to put her into flower this week with eight heads or run her out to 16. Things are a little tight in my flower room right now so I'm leaning toward going another round of training before moving her into prime-time. Should be fun either way!

It has been 4 weeks since the initial topping on this mainline experiment. All of the stems up to the current eight heads have hardened, but I am going to leave the anchors on the four main branches for now. The eight new heads have a few more days to go before training down but I think this girl is ready to go to flower!

.....but.....

I have decided to experiment a bit more and do one more round of topping and training. As I mentioned in a previous post my flower room is pretty full right now due to a miscalculation in timing and there is no sense forcing another plant in when I can benefit from spending more time on this mainlining project. My guess is that training to a 16 headed monster will take another 10-14 days of veg time and I will probably upcan again to a 5gal pot to give the root system ample space to support her top.

Thanks for your support and I hope you guys stick around for the move to prime time!

I woke up early this morning and decided that today was the day to move Wanda up to a 5 gal pot and do the next round of topping and training. She is responding very well so far and I am chomping at the bit to get her into flower but I will probably wait about a week or so to allow the new tops time to grow out and establish some solid growth.

Wanda in her new pot:
