Mailing hash (hypothetically of course)

Ok I got a completely hypothetical question here. Lets say one lived in the U.S. and was going to Amsterdam. Would it be a bad idea to flatten say 2 grams of hash and put it in a letter and mail home using a different name?

Remember this is hypothetical and I would never do such a thing.:roll:

Hypothetical prison sentences don't suck that bad, so I would hypothetically ship a shitload back to my hypothetical home. Those hypothetical highs are AWESOME!

What you should do, hypothetically is not mail it to your home. If you mail it somewhere else with someone elses name on it then hypothetically you are in no trouble.

Just think about it a little more and you should come up with a no risk solution

Hypothetically it's a big risk but if you want to take the chance you need to find a good way to hide it I work for the Post Office and anything from another country gets ripped apart in customs so really it's not the best idea

Scent dogs aren't trained to sniff out seeds - they are trained to sniff out weed, hashish, and most other common drugs. Pretty much any mail that goes through customs gets the dog treatment from what I understand.

Proven fact: Dogs can find a gram of weed sealed in plastic, then frozen inside a 5lb slab of hamburger and stashed inside a sealed cooler whose interior was sprayed with perfume or febreeze.

Hypothetically, I wouldn't try it! ;)

I read in another forum that mail under a certain weight (1oz) doesn't get checked, thats what brought this up. I know about dogs and all the other shit but I'm maintaining a very small weight so that is what I think is the key. I could be wrong though so that is the info I'm looking for. Hypothetically that is. Growjoe do you know anything about this?

if you can figure out a risk free way then there is no risk. and damn i cant think of any reason someone would want to get back a few grams a amsterdams finest hash, can anyone else?

There was a post in here somewhere from a postal worker saying if they can't smell it no problem.

The problem is when you handle pot with your hands or what ever and then touch the package the scent is on the out side of the package. And that scent stays a long while.

use a seal tight baggie then clean the bag and hands with alcohol real good then let it air out. then do the same with another seal tight baggie. It's done all the time with large and small amounts. Get some one in Amsterdam to go to the post office for you. They know the system and will get less attation.

I buy a herb called valerian root and many of my friends have mistaken it for pot many times. It comes through the mail and never have I seen tapering with the package. I buy 8 ounces at a time. So find a local herb shop and put their return lable on it.

The thing is you can go that way but it must me in a letter size envelope and less than an ounce so that it does not require a customs form so if you can get it that flat then go for it like the other person said try to get it sent somewhere else if you can or put another name with your address and a random return address as long as it's under an ounce with an 84 cent stamp on it until stamps go up then i'll fill you in on the new price

Hey man, take a greeting card hypothetically speaking, draw in it happy birthday, make it look like a kids writing, you could get food coloring, hypothetically of course and dye the hashish, than make it look like paint on the inside, make sure to get a card that opens three ways, you know you open it and it looks like a regular card but with the hashish under the third part it will hold togeather and if anyone opens it it will look like paint, this is a real hypothetical situation that will work, watch lockup on msnbc, people in prison do this to get it through postal checks, you can do this with most any drug or intoxicant, not to mention a greeting card probably wont be checked, just dont put your first name. thats my two sense:blsmoke:

Hes right about that when I was locked up my girl used to send me nasty pics like that...it works...rubber cement not super glue or elmers
