I'm using a 2.3x2.3x6ft tent and this light looks amazing. Anyone who uses it or used it in the past? Thank you.

P.S. I'm a newbie at grow lights. I've heard MarsHydro TS1000, Spider Farmer 1000 and HLG 100 are also good but the Lumatek is way sexier and NOT chinese. Looking forward to hearing thoughts boooyyyyyys!!

Form and finish are much nicer compared to the others you mentioned. The only thing non Chinese is the name and local support through network of dealers/distributors. If you look at test reports on the "manufacturers" dropbox, testing is in China and majority of components too. With a combined EU/UK market, you would hope that they are big enough and would have added value at home. But profit is driver.

Your tent is 70cm x 70cm. How high do you hang your light. Do you dim your light? Any pictures?

I haven't used an Attis but I was looking at the specs and they weren't that impressive. I am not a fan of the Mars either. The HLG lights are good ones.

Comparing the HLG 100 to the Attis 200 is comparing a 100 watt LED to a 200 watt LED.

The Lumatek's wattage is a good fit for your space at 37 watts per sqft. May have to dim it a bit.

Tent is 70x70x160. I haven't bought a dimmable light before and don't have any pics. I recently started growing indoors and looking for a legit light. Mars Hydro is recommended on YouTube but nobody recommends it on forums. Sponsors maybe? I don't know. Everyone seems to like the HLG though.

Any lights you recommend for my 70x70x160 tent? Looking for full spec LED, don't care if it's blurple or white. Just under 300euros. Thank you.

Well if you are EU based, one option. https://www.led-tech.de/en/growAtHome

Alternatively you could browse for information and guidance for a strip build. A very good guide and introduction.

Quite a few examples of F strip and Bridgelux strip builds on forum, if you search.

Maybe someone else has links for EU vendors with kits or parts.

The attis is a solid light, its just new and not many will have experience with it and a lot of people wont of heard about it been a UK company.
Damn sure it will rock your space and 1000% sure it will destroy a Mars LED of equal wattage.

It has the advantage over a HLG of been ideal for your space where a hlg135 would be a bit under and less coverage , a hlg260 would be way over kill.
The attis also has a 3 year warranty and is easily dimmed.

Check out migro's test on youtube but take into account that is the 600 pro which does have a higher umol/j than the lower wattage versions.
But its a solid light.

Cheers Corey. Yeah I checked that video of Migro. Migro also had a video praising MarsHydroTS1000. Don't get me wrong, MarsHydro may be great but all these youtubers test it when they get it but the problems show up later, after 2-3 months of daily use. China baby xD

I agree, they had a terrible rep for years and they have improved but they are a budget light and that's what they are aiming for.
Only a few days ago someone on here had a TS 600 blown out with a quarter of the board dead.
Im sure Mars will sort it out but it doesn't fill me with confidence.

Also they cant seem to drag themselves away from using silly numbers to make the light more powerful, it would be a plus if they named their lights for the wattage they are but they still don't seem to get that despite a lot of people telling them.

Also its hard to distinguish between a genuine youtuber and they guys who will tell you everything is great because they get paid or gifted shit.
Set of cunts youtubers , lots of great ones but a massive bunch of them are shameless whores.

This is it with youtubers. I usually look through their other vids, if there is very little long term follow up on product. . Becomes clear who are wxxxs. ("fatty fatty buds." I must stop. But yes, lot of "sponsored" reviews.)

Mars. Noticed posts on TS range with dead segments, as you mentioned.Do not see much on SP150/250 range.

I've switched lights now again but my first grow involved two Spider Farmer 1000 lights that I ran for a full grow so about 4 maybe 5 months. It also involved a 315 cmh. For my first indoor grow I couldn't of been happier with the SF lights. The first generation was dimmable but slightly more involved than the current models however my first light's cost was pretty cheap, I later bought a 2nd which I paid more for, wished I had bought two right off the bat. I've heard that they made a change in production changing the size of the heat sink which bothered a few folks because of the difference in light uniformity. I was lucky that both the lights I purchased were identical so no issues for me. The lights functioned without issue, if I was a person on a budget who was looking to grow for a first time and wanted to save some coin on power I'd do it. If I was gonna jump in and start growing for the first time I feel good about recommending their product to a person. If I was a grower with experience using HPS/MH already I'd say jump headlong into a higher quality LED such as HLG, Timber, Gavita or any number of DIY kits out their. I'm still really in experienced with growing but fell in love with it 2 summers ago in the garden growing legal weed and veggies in the same space. I haven't decided what I enjoy more growing out or in best. I love having the plants right there in the next room or in the same room I'm in available to observe and almost be able to watch grow before my eyes. Growing is the greatest thing a person can do for themselves and those around them.

PS Really really high currently off my own supply, so sorry if my rant doesn't make any sense.. :weed:
