As a matter of interest which do you prefer from the 3 above plus Space Monkey? Is there a clear fave or are they all your faves? I'm thinking the Space Monkey has to be my next run but would like to know which of these stretches the least, cos I have a bit of a height ceiling issue.....

They are looking pretty awesome, I’m on day 31 today, keen for em to start getting some colours, I just got in for the bodhi winter 2018 testers, so it will be interesting what I get sent. Got sent a list 2 pages along and was told to pick a top 5 was soo hard, I asked for a punchy 9 week indica, I’m going to do a seperate journal on here for when I get the testers going

I know it's back a few pages, but on the subject of spectrum and plant reactions, what I've been hipped to is that higher energy light wavelengths, reds, are more present at sunrise and sunset, triggering a wake or sleep response. They also penetrate deeper through a canopy, which can trigger a stretching response. Higher energy photons also simply impart more energy to the plants. On the other side of the spectrum, your uva and b tell the plants they're in direct sunlight and reduces stretching while inducing the plants suntan lotion, trichs to be produced. Judicious use of different spectrums at different stages of growth should be able to induce all of these desired responses.

I have to disagree with your comment, man. The higher energy wavelength of the visible spectrum is violet. As wavelength decreases, the frequency increases and so does the energy. Reds have a higher wavelength, less frequency and less energy. It's the reason why the blue light from LED's is bad for our eyes, because it has more energy and penetrates into the retina. For the same reason water in a swimming pool always looks blueish. Sunsets/rises always appear red because the reds are scattered more than the blue, by the atmosphere, and so we see more of them.
Where I think people get confused is the relationship between wavelength and frequency. As wavelength decreases frequency increases. X-rays and Gamma rays (Which are short wavelengths but higher frequency) are way more dangerous than radio waves (Which are longer wavelengths but lower frequency.) If you had say a piece of paper which has tiny tiny holes in it, the X-rays/Gamma rays would get through but the radio waves wouldn't - depending on the size of the hole obviously but you probably get the point :)

Yeah I'm bass akwards, but the principles of plant response are there. I'm trying to muddle through this stuff, brain failure does occur.

sup man. i dont have a fave, theyre all great and really different. i cant see me letting any of em go...the grape god this round is really surprising me - its massive! id probs say the monkey stretches least...

hey man, same and same! love the autumn colours, really looking forward that this round. congrats on the testers...i wonder what they'll send ya...a 88g13hp cross is my bet!
i also got picked, i chose 5 strawberry milk crosses and they said they'd send me a couple packs so im pretty stoked. my top pick was fat cherry x strawberry milk followed by the Goji OG cross so hopefully get those...

@INF Flux hey man, cheers for the input, its always welcome. ive read about it all quite a bit and it still melts my brain haha!
