LTD's First Grow Log, CFL only

dang thats a lot of light dude! keep it up! glad to hear about getting your heat locked in looking forward to a photo update...

haha that only has half the lighting as it does now (^_^) but yah photo updates every 2 days till im done with first grow!

i now have 2 surge breakers hanging with 6 lights a peice and then 2 more on the end

with adding the light some of the plants are looking..... Odd?

They 2 First leaves are pointing almost straight up into the air towards the light? wtf is this?

looks like they are starting the YMCA dance all over my grow room.

I know for sure you have enough light. but maybe put a book or two under your pots to bring them closer? That's the only thing i could think of man.

im honestly afraid to move them any closer...they are at 2.5 inchs away atm , i dunno they look healthy just Y'd up on a few of them maybe ill try some mylar under them to reflect more light around

the key is to get them as close as possible to the light but you need to monitor the temp around the top of your plant because theres a big diffrence from where your thermomiter is and where the top of your plants are i think 2.5 inches is safe enough, just IMO

my temp gauge is as talla smy plants atm so it gets the light temp. when the fan is on for 30 mins its at 78f and when it off for the next 30 mins it gets to about 80 not quite but close to it


opinions on giving a 1/8 feeding of 6-9-0 nut's to my ones that are furthest along

Nothing wrong with your lil ones pointing @ the light, there showing that they wan't to perform for ya.

day 9.....nothing is changing in my eyes...everyone elses plants seem to be twice as far along at this point.

so i wait and wait and wait. Can't wait till i dont have to deal with fuckin seedlings anymore....

Day 10 morning feeding... looking......i see some progress ill get pictures up tonight ....not much different but what can be expected this early... still small on day 16 and ill be worried.. I feel that maybe feminized / seedbank seeds period may just grow better?

Eypxn- at day 11 had 2 nodes ><

Dopewear- i seem to be on par with his outdoor veg, i would be happy to see them the size of his at week 3.

Now lets wake n bake with the ladies.

Goal:hoping to harvest around aug. 20th-30th 60-75 days flowering time 1 1/2 oz per female

At day 6-7 they are looking fine. Youll see them get better. get the lights down. ph your water from the begining. Dont use anything besides that soil for awile!. Your good man, as far as i know. These people on here are awsome, dont be afraid to ask and pm!

there looking really good man, all i can say too is bring your lights down for sure, i have a pretty similar setup with less liighting i think but ive kept them super close since they sprouted and one of them responded well and bushed out like crazy and the other one just seems to want to go up in hight and not width but they really respond to close lighting using cfls i noticed new growth every day. and mine took FOREVER from seed, to where i am now at least thats the way it felt, so i know how your feeling give it time and close lighting and your gold buddy. good job tho just keeper at it

its day 10 though and they look almost the same as day 7 its depressing like watching grass grow after all this investing ive done. hopefully itll be decent investment in the long run

The air pump & stones i would purchase @ a pet store. There alot cheaper at a pet store. well most of the time lol. (get a good stone because they like to clog from the salts in the nutes).

As for the netpots, if you don't have to buy them don't. make them or.. Do you have a hydro store near you? Thats where id go looking for the pots.

any suggestions on how to make the net pots? i bought a 2 way pump ( i figure i wanna do some plnats organic and 2 plants hydro this time) good thing the pet store owner knew about the clogging air stone i bought 25 dollar set of 6 of them..even though i only need 2 atm.

i couldnt find...net pots or clay stones?

Transfered 6 of the Ladies into 2 gallon bag's

switch from 100% soil to 50% perlite 50% soil

hoping this will fix my water issue

All and all i think i might of messed up one of the 6...and that would be fine for my first time i think i did good.

well i'm now going to avoid germing in a paper towel after reading your reason of not doing it in a towel...probably going to buy peat pellets next time or lil 1 inch peat pots though...
