yah ur pictures are lil sketchy, so i just strip a AC wire and wire them? do they work one way and not the other way(postive to neg and not neg to pos ) when you hook them up?
i was gonna try to wire up a few today but now i have to use my flowering bubls for veg till i can replace my failed bulbs
It doesn't matter, positive with neg, neg with pos, pos with pos. as long as you got them twisted together your good
Ya i need to actually put some info on the cfl post dont I lol.
use a knife or tiny screwdriver to get under Metal end cap that screws into the outlet then just pry it up a little, once the metal tears you can take a pair of pliers or something and just pull on the torn piece and the cap will fall of in a matter of seconds.
Use the pliers to reach into the end cap and break the wire away from the 2 points its soldered to in the cap. wallah your done. (you can remove the entire lower 1/2 of the cfl bulb also if you want to, it contains the ballast for the bulb. (but its a little tricky, you have to get under that little lip and pry up until you hear a crack, continue to do this all the way around and them pry the piece off. (its glued on there or something
so you need to break that bond all the way around the bulb)
if you take the whole end piece off you can melt little holes so your wires go through the side of the cfl. if not you can just melt slits up into the casing (be careful) and slide the wires into position that way also.
