So I've noticed that all the strains thcbiomed have on their site are from Paradise seeds
https://www.paradise-seeds.com/en/cannabis-seeds

So my question is has anybody grown anything from Paradise seeds and was it any good?

They do have a couple Cannabis cup winners with Sensi star and opium.
Ive done their original cheese, original white widow and whiteberry. All not bad but definitely not one hit wonders. The cheese was my favorite from them.

The paradise of today is not the same stuff that won cups int he past, just a warring. They lost their moms, myself and another guy off this forum tested 2 different sensi stars this past year and both were bunk.
Really. Good to know. do you know any of their strains that are worthwhile?

That is really a shame because back in the day it was a wonderful strain.

Any reason your stuck on the idea of using paradise?
Not trying to cause a Christmas argument but I'm curious.
Basically for brevity sake. At the moment I only have the one tent. So I was thinking if I could start my next crop with some clones it would save me a couple weeks of veg. I plan to get a second tent soon So well the clones are flowering I could have more time to pop some seeds. I got a few packs of regulars from peekseedsbs that I will have to sex out. As well as a pack of feminized Barb from the house of the great Gardner.

And also what brewer said

good luck with the bunk ass shit from house of the great gardener, matt makes a ton of money moving bud through dispensaries and had his ass saved to the tune of 250k legal defense by his friend phil loucas, mmm, ya great guy meanwhile the other growers from the same dispensary got zero when they went down hard for the casue

i am curious about this thc biomed thing if you go on their sight there appears to be no actual test results in place for all these 28 strains that all come from this , now we are told has been dutch seed company, kind of strange maybe the whole thing is a clone and dump show, who is this former dg president of thc biomed anyways??? would be nice to sample the bud that goes with their strains offered as clones yet they dont have a licence to sell bud yet, so by the time we have all bought clones and grown them out the company has pumped up their great success being the cheapest clone dealer under the acmpr with no test results and no bud of all these fantastic strains to try? not that i would source clones fomr some jack shit grower down the street loaded up with mites mildew and gnats, for xmas i started my own seeds like god intended from scratch

When speaking with them they said once registered you can log into your account on the site and there willl be more info available. I'm assuming it will have cannabnoid profiles and what not.

As far as the old "clone dump" theory I was kind of woundering about that myself. I wanna call and verify. But if they plan on just poping a bunch of seeds to clone with out actually pheno hunting I'll pass. Might as well just go with seeds at that point.

real men start with regular seed (puts hair on the chest)
Haha. I agree and plan to use them. But like I was saying above. I wanna get things going asap. But I still can't start till the end of January as me and the wife are headed to Jamaica mid January. . Maybe I can find some there.lol. But when I'm back I want to hit the ground running....so that's where the clones come in. And plan B would be feminized seeds. Then when I'm established I can crack my Regular seeds.

Yeah I met mat in Toronto at the old expo a few years ago, he seemed like a real douche, a know it all type, very cocky, and his weed was shit. He was going on and on about how barb was so good, but the nugs he had of it looked like some outdoor (not saying it was, but it had that dark shitty look)
He is one of them greedy fucks, selling tons of seed, tumbling his weed before he sells it to the clubs, then pressing the keif into rosin, he is a real piece of work. All he has going for him is he has a really nice grow, but like you said if he owes 250K then that grow would be more of a burden then a joy.

who is this guy you mention that bailed him out?

Yeah all the breeders in Amsterdam lost all the mother plants like 10 years ago, and none of the strains are the same now, just the same name for branding reasons.

Wow, it is pretty terrible to hear that so many precious strains were lost. That is during the time period I stopped paying attention to anything cannabis or drugs (I stupidly thought that my mental health problem was a drug problem so I went sober for 9 years), is there anywhere I can read about what happened to cause that ? I have googled already, my google fu seems to be failing me today.

as far as i know his 250k defense fund was not to be repaid by him but his partners at the vics aka founder phil loucas, interesting you mention the bud scuffing, the vics dispensary bud buyer chad was a merciless bud scuffer too, thats right folks after the vics "com[passion" society bought their weed chad would spend all day lightly bud scuffing all day long, he had all these little containers of full melt that should have been on the patients weed.
anyways these cons cooked up the idea of the vancouver island cannabis research institute or some bullshit name , they then fired all their mom and pop growers without notice and started growing their own shit with matt as their partner, so idiot matt who at that time had long hair goes into a home depot and wheels out with some bails of peat, fans , wire etc, and an off duty cop writes down his licence, boom the insittute gets busted as they had a licence for a tiny number of plant, well no problem if your big money makers like them fire up the expensive weed lawyers and file a constitutional challenge, yay 250k later they add a couple patients to each site, and matt is a hero?
meanwhile phat phil loucas shows his true colors and jumps over to evil tilray.
all i can say is all these supposed heros have made a ton of money along they way and always have bought their way out of trouble with endless legal funds, does the average mom and pop grower for these clubs get the same treatment hell no your on your own, they barely let you in the door after getting busted yet if your somehow hero matt, or other bogus types like ted smith and his crew, you buy yourself a constititurional challenge, meanwhile what happened to the little busted heros of the movement who couldnt afford a full on constitutional challenge, they end up losing their homes, families, my buddy ended up suicide , so HELL NO do not support or canonize these people they should be the ones put on trial in part when all this dirty shit comes to light, kinda like when a long war is over we get to find out who were that rat mole sharks and the PEOPLE can be the judge of them, whether they helped or hurt OUR cause.

Is there any LP that doesn't have a former government official involved in their company? Isn't it interesting that only people from certain departments of the government are involved in this new fledgling industry? Law enforcement, public health.....the departments that have MAINTAINED prohibition until it was convenient and profitable....I mean, I haven't seen a former government official who made policy or directed legislation coming from the say the dept of fisheries and oceans, or immigration sitting on the boards or directly involved with LPs. I guess they didn't get the memo.
