lowering ph level

three of my plants are about 7.1ph
i am using happy frog soil. i can not transplant or add lime to the soil im about to start flowering in 3 or 4 days..i dont want to disturb the roots..is it possible to just add lime to the top of the soil or what else can i do to lower the ph level

i think my plants are having some Mg def as well i cant take any pics right now

Yes you can, but i would mix it in with the water and feed. Make sure its dolomite lime.

Also lemon juice works well, for soil anyways.

Yup, lemon juice will bring it down, but not as easily as a pH Down solution. But then again, lemon juice is a lot easier to get ahold of.

Is your runoff 7.1? If so, thats not too bad... runoff is allowed to be a bit higher than the ideal pH.

no its not run off..i thought about testing that but i just used a meter..i know its best to test run off i guess next time i water i will test that before i try to adjust the ph lvl
