Lower tolerance advice

So I been smoking daily for years, a quarter last my wife and me a little less than a week. Lately I haven't felt like I was getting my money's worth, even though I get pretty good bud. I just keep smoking and not really getting off. I was thinking about stopping for a while, but now that I haven't smoked all day I want to hit up a joint. You guys think i have to stop cold turkey to lower my tolerance or is smoking once a day still gonna work?

yah, i agree.. nothing like letting your system get clean for a couple of days to bring the tolerance back down.. you would think that only smoking once or twice a day would have the same effect, but i think that so long as your still introducing thc to your system, its gonna build up a tolerence.. so by going cold turkey for a few days is the only way to bring the tolerance down imho..

just bite the bullet and stop for a couple days...it'll help :D

i've gone 6 weeks without bud before and i lived! Lol so its doable...its definitely a challenge...but its doable :D

I stop for a month or two once a year. That seems to reset my tolerance. If I don't do this I just don't get all that high anymore.

wtf do you people think is going to happen to people like me? Im on probation, have been since june 09, will be till this Nov or Dec, if we can do it for a year or more, you can do it for a week.

Wat kind of tolerance do you guys think i will have (prolly none whatsoever)?

Sheit I feel for you my juggalo brother, but I am weak and I hit a bowl with my wife. Not putting the blame on her, it's my fault for being weak but probably could have resisted better if she wasn't smoking. Oh well 1 bowl is better than what I usually do. Good pep talk Sarah but I am afraid you were a bit too late and not sure if it would have actually stopped me, thanks for the advice guys, we'll see how I do tomorrow. BTW I only got a slight buzz of it, hardly worth it at all.

damn, i feel for you, hope i dont get liek that in a few years, iv been smoking everyday for a year or so, but mostly i just get high at night and then go to bed, sometimes, i get high when i wake up, then a few more bowls, then college then get high after college and then get high that night! thats the way to do it haha! I havnt smoked in 4 days and i didnt sleep for 3 days ooff it and only got to sleep last night due to pure tiredness!

I havnt really got any advice, but if you smoke all day, like m more than once, i would limit it to once every 2 days and see how that goes?

Peace x

Thanks man, but the plot thickens LOL
I was pretty sick a week or so ago and like an idiot I took NyQuil 3 nights in a row. I haven't been able to go to bed before 4-5am since. Last nigh was the worst, I was actually up until 7am, now it's 11:30am and I am up again. I ended up smoking 2 bowls to the head around 5am trying to force myself to sleep, shit didn't work obviously. I might have to see a doctor, wifey is getting a bit worried.

i quit for 2 months this last summer because my friends and i were discussing how hard it would be to quit (we've all smoked daily for nearly a decade lol).. it wasn't that hard after the first few days for me. quitting for a period of time definately resets the tolerence though. i took 1 hit from a hitter after the 2 months and i was floatin for hours, definately like the first time again minus the element of surprise from not knowing what to expect. just cutting down to smoking once every evening will help quite a bit too.

I try to not smoke during the day.

That way when I fire one up in the Jacuzzi it's the best one of the day.

BTW - if you stop just for a few days, your tolerance will drop accordingly.

Peace -:joint::peace:
