Can someone please tell me what is missing and what I need to fix it.
Zinc? Potassium?

FoxFarm Nutes. 4th week of veg. This morning PPM is 802 (seems to be drinking more water than nutes). PH is 5.8 and nute temp is 70.

Im still confused on the whole PPM thing, I'm going of the online FoxFarm feed schedule. Bag seed

Flushed for 48 hours cause my water PH caused some probs.

Compared to the picture below it looks like the poster child for a magnesium deficiency. Water with two teaspoons of Epsom salts per gallon of water or foliar feed (spray foliage) with a 2 percent solution of Epsom salts.

What kind of light do you use? How close to plants? Do you fertilize and have you flushed lately. What are your temps. The tips are burned and the leaves are mostly green so that could be nute burn or too much heat? Maybe Mag? Hard to say! Need more info.

So I added the epsom salt to my res. I noticed that all the leaves with the damage has purple stems. Should I remove all the damaged leaves/purple stems? So all energy can go to the healthy stems/leaves....

dont take any leaves off..

=====with the deffency/BURN in whatever it is i think if you have too much cl or ca or nitrogen, magnesium is sort of a mediator and can get locked up and stop the flow of nutrients to that area so it just starts to die.. SO it looks like its a deficiency, but dont overdo it or itl get worse

somebody please correct me on this, its somthing i read somewhere.=====

Ok. Since I added the epsom salt the PPM has nearly doubled. Was about 780 and now its reading in the 1500's. Ph is fine

certainly mag def, i had the same thing along with a potassium def, Fox farms grow big at 1/4 strenght fixed it all, i locked out the nutes bcus of high PH, the fox farms lowers PH....someone told me to Flush with fox farms thoroughly, then feed///the flush basically unlocked it and my mag def recovered very nicely within a few days...remember to use the grow big mixed with your flush water

yes, in my expirience, it looked like nute burn, but not tips were burnt, the side edges of the blades got crisp, thats what can throw you off...its critical that you take a look at that link i provided, its in the plant problems Forum at top, a must read

dude, that looks like hardcore nute burn, are you feeding and if so how much? for example i got my deficiency from when my plants were young when it was not needed to feed, the high PH over time and flushing caused the lack of nutes in my case

that looks exactly what's happening to some of my plants.. what's the best way for me to measure the ph of the soil? just test the run off?
