Looking into SOG

Okay...been growing almost a year...have one straight up regular crop and 2 12/12 from seed crops under the belt. I've been rocking a 400W MH/HPS switchable, but haven't used the HPS for the 12/12 grows. Anyway, been looking to increase production and based on what I have read and how much space I have and the little bit that I want to use to expand. I have a 4x4 DarkRoom120, it's been rocking faces so far. Anyway, I want to use the 4x4 for the flower chamber, and get the new DR with the little clone chamber on top. Now for the questions...

I have been using soil...should I switch over to some kind of hydro table? If so, what would be the most cost efficient and most productive way to go? I was thinking something like a drip system, but if something else would work better...that would be sweet.

How would I control 3 different humidity levels in 2 different tents? One of them has a clone chamber on top of it, so it is 3 chambers.


And 3rdly....my buds seem to be a little bit wispy this grow. the plants aren't stretched or anything. I think I am pulling them a little bit early. Anyone got a high speed picture of a DONE and ready to be chopped plant? I did the tricrhome thing, but...that was way way off. And I grew up growing gardens, so I never really had a problem telling when things are ripe. Then again, it just may be this dry ass winter air.

cost effective would be a diy flood n drain .... you could put about 24 plants .. i would consider a 600w or 2 400 hps keep the lights close so they wont stretch.. good luck
