The Durban I smoke came from seed purchased from Krop King Seeds.Awesome, thanks for the input!
I smoked some energetic ‘purple weed’ in the 90’s as a teenager that smelled kinda like aniseed that was super fun and made us laugh and carry on..
Since then it’s been mostly indicas or indica hybrids which are kinda nice to get numb and zonked out on, but I also become antisocial and super unmotivated, which I’m really tired of..
Is the Durban you describe from a specific breeder?
My first stab at that! Can't wait to try it...My favorite strain for the activities you are describing would be Durban Poison for sure. Until I started smoking it, I didn't realize weed could be so uplifting and social, and I've been smoking for 40 years.
Mr.Nice was the nicest SSH I've had.SSH would be my favorite . I can't say who has the best , I had a cut of the original . C99 , or at least the cut of the original I had gave me some heart racing and a bit of paranoia .

Haha nice, that sounds like the kind of effect I’m afterThe first and only time I had A5 Haze, it was like living in a happy dream. The world felt beautiful, and I just wanted to take it in. I've been looking for a cut or seeds for it since then. It was truly a happy and unique experience no a soft landing. No sleepiness at all.
Cool, the original..Mr.Nice was the nicest SSH I've had.

Shit yeah sounds like a nice comboI've seen the bases covered here except no one said Skunk#1. Not edgy. My other fav sativa was one I have 75? seeds of to pheno hunt to look for again...a skunk pheno of Skunk#1 x Chocolope. The skunk pheno was amazing and by far my favorite for its lemon/lime flavor and sprite cola joint pull taste. It wasn't edgy but it would put you way up.
If I could find a pheno to match that one I would be so happy. The pigs took it. I thought I was going to win a cannabis cup.
His is the pure sams line I'm pretty sure and any skunk that finishes in less than 12 weeks is later skunk the earlier skunk1 isn't so fast in bloom the buzz your describing sounds like it tho minus the body tingling thing you get with some phenos too in the older ones it's definitely a happy up buzz some of the later skunk1 lines smoke nothing like this also early skunk1 will Hermie it's unstable later stuff is way more sexually stable Vs early 80s gens the UK cheese for example is from 88 it's solid firm female it smokes heavier too whereas you grow something like skunk special its way less sexually stable but smokes like you describe it's a happy uplifting smoke Vs the more stoned side of thingsShit yeah sounds like a nice combo
Do you know the origin of your skunk #1?
A mate was given some skunk seeds from a dude in Nimbin a while back, was the stinkiest strain I’ve ever grown and had some phenos that were done in 7 - 8 weeks.. nice up, visual colour enhancing high..
Wish I still had that one
Didn’t know what I had at the time

The early skunks I prefer come from his stock selected in 84 for greenhouses in Holland (red skunk/EU skunk2 lines) that's when Sam first made it to Holland by later 80s the skunk was alot more stable and sweet less catpiss or ranker style reek there as well as faster flowering as so alot more worked or something was added to stabilise it some argue you about that to this day all i know is there different the cheese and later cuts like her are just throwbacks I thinkMy big question is for Dave Watson...Tell us about the freebies. What greenhouse and what year did you make them? How did they figure into the breeding projects? Could someone call him up and find out? Lol.
