Looking for pics/descriptions of rain shelters, either stationary or permanent and/or suggestions on buying a fan for their plants outdoors?
I want to build a shelter to keep the rain off the plants and also was interested in using an outdoor fan to keep them dry.

ever thought of a greenhouse? I would say it is the best

Hoop houses are also popular

Easy ups are good too, but you really have to set them up good!

as for a fan, any fan will work until it breaks! just make sure it doesnt get rained on. I know wet rated might be nice to avoid a fire but, I have had fans outside before and they have never caught on fire I only have had the motors die.

i havent done it yet but ive been toying with the idea of lean-to style greenhouse for a while. I have a large 40x60 garage in my back yard which i lovingly refer to as "the barn", because of how my property is setup both sides of it are visible from the street but behind it is pretty well blocked, so my concept is to build a frame that will lean against the back of it, cover with greenhouse plastic, have an intake vent low on one side and an exhaust fan at the top of the opposite side, a door thrown in somewhere, then maybe build a trellis to lean up against the building also so i can get more out of the space, i cant use the full 40foot width because part of the area is my raw lumber storage (i mill trees into lumber in my spare time lol) i can maybe go 15-20ft width back there, but then theres only maybe 6 or 7 feet from the back of the building to my fence, only a 4ft tall fence so shouldnt block too much light, thankfully the backside of the building is the perfect side to build all this on since it sees the most sunlight.

My situation is very similar to DBlastin but much smaller scale, next to a small garage visible to the neighbors, though I will be legal, finally. I already have a trellis structure that I could put a "roof" on, I am thinking corrugated clear plastic hoping it'll suffice. This season pretty much autos but eventually I'd like to grow a tall sativa over the trellis originally intended for a climbing rose.

If I'm keeping the direct moisture off the plants and have the air moving will the plants will have a fighting chance against the mold?
