Looking for any insights on My 2x4 tent (2000w enjoyyeild LED)

Any tips on how to get them to fatten up as much as possible? This is a new light and a new nute line but i have been less than impressed with quality from my last few harvests.

I have grown a few autos, gorilla glue, and a few other photo strains. These ones are OG Kush bagseed.
My last grow was OG Kush. I have the journal for that at > OG Kush Journal I got 24 oz's of big dense buds in 4x4 under TS 3000 mars hydro. You might find my new grow journal interesting. It's an experiment involving two mediums and two pot sizes. That's in my signature below.

In the past i have had N tox on most of my grows. Today i cut some of the Micro (which has the higest amount of N in the Blue Planet 3 part nutes) just as a precaution. They are in FFOF soil which has a decent amount of nutes so I am jusy worried about overfeeding. Plus hoping it maybe will slow down vertical growth because as you can see i am running put of space above.

Bud sites seem to be developing nice, no visible frost yet but more pistils every day.
That's quite a stretch. I supper cropped mine. I'm not sure if this is the reason why mine didn't stretch like yours, but it did make for an even canopy. That helped when they all got equal light. I also grew in FFOF. I only did top dressing in flower of gaia green. I didn't need stakes because of the chiropractic care on all the stems. It made branches strong enough to hold up some big buds.

I started in a miracle grow organic soil that had very little nutes in it (3 gallon pots) then transplanted to a 5 gallon with FFOF.
Here's a pic of the larger more stretched plant the day i flipped to 12/1220210121_115230.jpg

It doesn't look like you use any LST. Why? It's the best way to increase your yield in a tent. LST starting early and use this video before you flip. Big yields if you practice LST and super crop before flip.

The plants were trained pretty early actually. I tied them down when they had just a few nodes to encourage them to branch out more. I never topped or fimmed or anything, just bent branches and tied down.

Here she is a few weeks old just after i tied her top down the first time. (And an Autoflower that was finishing while they vegged)

5 gallon fabric pots with FFOF soil.

Fed blue planet 3 part nutes as according to label with every watering. Plus 5ml per gallon GH CALiMAGic cal-mag.

Vegged for about 45 days or so and flipped to flower light cycle on 1/20

I think they look okay so far, but i want to get the most out of them. They are my best looking plants yet and i wanna treat them right.
we have around the same tent size and i was wondering if i could get some insight from you? how many plants you got flowering in there? i know you said you transferred into 5 gallons how many can you get in your tent comfortably?

In this tent there is just 2 5 gallon pots. Also have a tiny clone in a starter pot flowering jusy to fuck around with. If i had a 3rd 5 gallon id probably be struggling for space especially without some sort of scrog net to manage the canopy.

In previous runs I fit 5 3 gallon pots in there.

I like to have room to move things around. I have an extra light on one side of the tent so i try to rotate plants every few days so they both get it. And i think it probably helps woth airflow too if its mot overcrowded in there.

just got my second tent set up and I'm going to run autos in there, was thinking 3, 5-gallon would be prime in there. I appreciate the input man you've been a great help

They are coming along but I can't figure out if this is nute burn or not and I am not sure how to proceed from here.

Also i have discovered thrips again. I sprayed some spinosad soap and dusted the soil with diatomatous earth. Hopefully that will handle it. I have been battleing them for a while now on and off. After this grow i will bleach the entire closet.

I insulated the window also. Low night time temp in the low 70s now.

Been 4 weeks now under 12/12

Maybe I should have added more detail to that as I didn't mean to offend.

In a good soil grow there is probably lots of all needed nutrients so adding bloom foods may not show that much of a difference unless there are deficiencies. I mostly grow either DWC or in soiless using hydro nutes and that is really dependent on timing and inputs as they are all the plants have to grow with.

Doing side by side grows with identical plants from the same mother showed some decent increases with early application of bloom food. Mainly just some extra Bloom and a half dose of Big Bud a week before flipping compared to starting that at the end of week 2. Checking my daily ppm drop in DWC showed up to 4X the feeding rate during the stretch then a rapid drop back to late veg rates. I'm pretty sure it's the same with other grow methods but harder to measure.

:peace:
Thanks thats some good advice, I feed boost week before flip too. Helps alot with light switch. Like it gives them notice that something is going to happen. They act like they expect the flip.

Make those shorter plants taller to even the entire tent's canopy. Put something under them. That will get them closer to the light while maintaining your light distance.

I like to do chiropractic care on my outdoor, next run indoor too. Thanks thats good advice.

I appreciate all this feedback.

My daytime temps are upper 70s nighttime since i insulated windows are low 70s. RH runs between 30-40%. I am not adding a humidifier right now, and they seem to be mostly okay with it.

Any advice on this?

Not sure if nute burn or a deficiency. 20210217_112837.jpg

Its a but to early in flower for leafs to be dying off I think and this has been progressing. I thought it was burn at first so started to flush and its gotten worse.

So to feed or not to feed, i suppose is the question now.

looks like calcium def. But not sure. I can never remember, Google plant deficiencies. I'm still trying to figure out these things, never have a problem outdoor, my first run with led. I'm a hps grower but needed to get heat down, so trying out led, hear and see real good things. Best indoor I've ever had so far. My tips are all burnt but I'm happy with that as I know they are maxed out for nutes. Some are more tolerant than others.
