Looking for a grow buddy

Semi experienced grower here looking to expand new horizons. I'm going to be starting a new CFL grow next weekend, July 11th and would like to find a "Buddy" to grow alongside. I'd prefer this to be someone with a bit of experience, but if any nood.com wants to sidekick it, so be it.

I saw a guy advertise this same thing a year ago or so and thought it would be cool. If I learn ONE new thing, it'd be cool, or conversely if I was able to teach a few things....

I'm never going to ask you your name, location, age, habit, anything otherwise and would appreciate the same of you.

I'll be doing an indoor, CFL grow of a handfull of plants. I have about 30 bagseeds I'm going to germ, anticipating 10 or so sprouting and taking 5 fems to maturity. My target smoke date will be sometime in the middle of October and I plan and hope to harvest an ounce per plant this time.

I will be doing this the simplest of ways with all supplies and ferts being picked up at Wal-Mart or Lowes.

Don't really know what else to say, but if you want to participate in a simple, personal stash/supply grow stick your thumb out and I'll snag ya on the way by.

i guess my thumb is out. i hadnt really thought of taking a grow partner but i like to float around the new posts and help people with minor problems and bounce a few ideas there direction. i only have one little seedling right now because my fuckin cat ate all of my plants like 2 weeks ago. i might end up having to kill this plant and start over at another time in another place. i like your simplistic/minamalist grow style because it some what like mine. i wont go out and spend $200 on an hps light and balast right now because i dont have that kind of money but i was willing to spend all my money upgrading from 1 (and later 3) 13w energy saving cfls to 2 26 w cool white cfls and a daylight bulb. i did this one bulb at a time.

im not at all woried about anyone wondering my name age location or habits unless they have a reason to and that wouldnt be discussed here. the only thing ill ask of you is what coast you live on and if you live in cali(or some where else that allows medical growers)

an ounce per plant is realistic but you probly want to adjust your smoke date to include drying and curing

dont be so insensitive man, the guy just wants a little help taking care of his pot plants and someone to bounce ideas off of. thats all this whole site is about anyways he just wants to know someone a little personally

I just started a grow more of a perpetual type than yours going to keep adding plants once 12/12 starts (will also get a small veg box) check out my journal.

Don't overthink this.

All I was doing was trying to start almost a community type thing. Ya know, where 2, 5, or 7 or so start a grow at the same time and we all watch what others do at the same time with other plants. I've got a schedule / cycle that I use that has been tried and true, and would teach it to anyone here. Other people have other tricks and methods, and I want to learn those as well to better my crops as I can.

Let's try to stay on topic here please, it ain't nun to cool to hijack threads, especially on a topic based forum.

Something that hasn't even been discussed is the competition that will insue. I'm not looking to really start competing amongst each other, that's not what I'm trying to do. But inevevitably we're naturally going to push each other to grow better plants with far better yields.

If I may chime in here.....you have a great idea and there are so many antagonists in the hobby! Im interested and any thing I say to you will be grow and not ego related. Some folks mistake age for wisdom and forget that agressivness is a sign of immaturity.

Damn people where the hell would you get all these crazy ideas from. I understood what he was trying to say from the get go. What is it????? Learning from other people is the best way watch what other people do and you might learn something new thats all this guy is trying to say. I'm about to start a new grow bro I'll post pics as soon as my seeds come in and update pics quite frequintly. I should be upgrading to a 400hps very very soon. All I need is the grow tent got the light fan and everything for it just need a grow tent.

PLACED that noob! read the original post where he says he dont wanna know where you live

like i said my last bunch of plants didnt make it. i planted a few bagseeds and i have one little seedling right now. im starting in a small half a pill container untill i notice the roots building up. then i will either transplant to a solo cup (to keep the plant runty if i keep her indoors) or the bottom balf of a two lieter with drain holes in the bottom. i have a pretty legit plan for growing outdoors including using chicken wire for protection from animals and to practice the scrog method if i chose that path but i dont think i have enough time. my last possiblity is to either kill the plant or give it away. i like having a plant to take care of so i dont think ill do that.

to the OP I think it is a great idea. I think that some questions that the participants have will be answered as opposed to not being answered if the question were posted to the forum, that is the advantage of a small group. I myself am not growing inside but I have thought of your idea also once before
