The good thing about growing cannabis, once you figure it out, all other plants seem to be just as easy..

This garden is far from complete, but Im hoping to have it done in 2 more years.

I still have 4 more beds to make, mulch everything, full cage around it, decorated, ect.

I would have had more beds made this year but the wife is so pissed off at me this year, I thought it was best that I not to push anymore..

After telling her I spent our vacation money on dirt, composts and a sort of things I needed, she was SOOOO pissed, I still haven't had
any loving since.

These beds are bigger then my canna beds..

26ft x 5ft x 2ft with 4ft walkways

Pic of corn the day before a raccoon came in and raised hell, took some, wrecked some.. This is why a fence is next on the to do list..

Ffof is tricky sometimes its to hot. Will burn plants. I would do ffhf, coco or promix. But yeah add ewc and the perlite with any of those and it will be gucci.

Ocean Forest has everything you need for the first 3 or so months of your plant's life. Easy peasy. I don't have the time, patience or desire to mix my own soil so Ocean Forest worth it. Never had any plant issues related to it

Ask her if she wants to shuck some corn. But do it in a fun way. If you can get her to laugh, you might get out of the doghouse sooner.

I'm sure people will scoff at what I use but I'm a huge fan of KISS, Keep it simple stupid. I use ffof because it's readily available, I amend it when transplanting into their final containers with down to earth bio live. I use nothing but water, and an occasional fish emulsion or some epsom added to the water every few weeks.

Alot if folks do well with it but the ones that get the 6000ppm soil start to reconsider on purchasing again. I can handle it now but new grower will go throw it. Flushing and plant burn. I couldnt feed the girls for 2 months. Wanted to give bloom nutes but soil wasn't having it.

I mix my left over ffof with happy frog and coco, ewc and perlite. The growth is crazy and like u said kiss. I don't have to feed em. Transplant at 3 weeks carries em til bloom switch. Then top dress 2-3 times tops.
Yep, I'll reuse my old soil as well, but I throw it into the compost pile with the root ball and let it cook. And dito I have to top dress once about halfway point through flower with DTE bio live and that's it. About as simple as I could get

I get what you are saying, but you are contradicting yourself.. You said you don't have to feed them, but then you said you top dress 2-3 times...

"Im just bustin balls", but topdressing is feeding :)

Plants speak for themselves...

She shut up when she stood next to the ladies.. Making my own soil was worth it in the long run.. going forward I will no til these beds and costs will go down..

Here was my notes when I was mixing batches.. I was doing them in batches of around 200+ gallons "hard to say exact gallons when I used a lot of native soil that was already rich in castings"..

This mix makes around 200 gallons of soil "depending on how much top soil you use"

1 bale of Premier peat "same peat pro mix uses"
1 part mushroom compost
1 1/2- 2 parts native top soil that I sifted
25 litre bag of composted sheep manure
5 gal bucket of chicken manure that's been composted for over 5+ years
5 gal bucket of pig manure that's been composted for over 5+ years
A bucket full of rabbit manure "normal size bathroom size trash can".
1 1/2 - 2 cups of dolomite lime
1 1/2- 2 cups of epsom salt
A couple heaping handfuls of oyster shells
A few heaping handfuls of alfalfa pellets
Perlite "added by eyeballing it"
8 cups of Gaia Green All Purpose
8 cups of Gaia Green Power Bloom
A heaping handful of eggshell powder
Worm Castings " several handfuls and also a lot in the native topsoil"
50 litres of sea compost " composted seaweed and shellfish"
A couple handfuls of green sand
A small handful of kelp meal "I didn't have much left of this stuff"

I will also be adding bat guano later this summer

I did a soil test on the mix and its showing 6.8 - 6.9, I will continue to monitor it but its looking good so far..

Hopefully they will take well to the mix and start to explode in growth soon..

Looking back, they sure did explode in growth..

I added some bokashi pro gro, about 2 cups per plant "ill get more of this stuff next year"

I also topdress every 3-4 weeks with Gaia Green 4-4-4 and Gaia Green 2-8-4, they have 1 more feeding to go and most likely that will be just 2-8-4.
Along side the top dressing, I do molasses teas once a week,.

She's so pissed cause she planned to go on this 2 week crazy ass tour around the Province and was blindsided by all my dirt :)

We got in the biggest fight this year, I guess she thought I was crazy to spend this much.. I lost track of how many loads of mushroom compost, pro mix, peat bales, and everything else I got.. I know we are well past 2k and about to be sleeping outside in these beds.
