Well Im going to try my first grow. I have read a lot of forms and watched alot of videos but would like your alls thoughts on this set up and my plans. Before u guys start reading this I do want to say sorry for my piss poor grammar.
Thanks for reading!!

Tent 4x4x80

light 600 watt hps/mh Dimmable reflector with cool tube 6 inch

IPower 6-Inch Air Carbon Filter
IPower 6-inch INLINE DUCT FAN blower 430 CFM
25-Feet Uninsulated Aluminum Ducting
fan speed controller

3 female super lemon haze seeds
3 heavyweight Fruit Punch seeds
I plan on using fox farms soil and nutes since this my first try
fox farms ocean forrest with 20% perlite

Im not sure on how many plants to put in there but thinking 4 max in 5 gallon pots
Going to top them and keep them at 12 inch's before switching to flower. What do u guys think?
tent is in a non heated or cooled 10x10 room built in garage( garage stays 20 degrees warmer then out side)
I did install window ac unit on wall for cooling
Now on to heating i thought about taking a Oil-filled Radiant Heater and puting into tent and setting on a timer to come on when lights out. What do u guys think?

Sounds good on setup, but an oil filled radiator in tent could be too much, plus you'll be surprised how much horizontal space 4 topped plants will take up once they start growing. could probably get some alternate suggestions if you list low and hi room temps, perhaps heater in the room.

You'd have to be mindful of stretch with sativa dom in 5 gal pots. 3 gal might be an easier manage. And easy on the FF nutes, sativas can be light feeders. I ran FF 1st run with sativa dom and had challenges dialing in. Not impossible but can be tricky. I switched to Botanicare Pure Blend Pro and am really liking it. PBP grow, bloom, CalMag, silica blast to about 75% of their schedule and you're set. Anyway just some noob input :)

thanks for the tips I will go with the nutes u listed and 3 gallon pots
If i heat the whole room then 4 plants are ok or should I just do 2?

Set it up and get everything working first . You don't need a 600w for seedlings. Make sure your temps and humidity are stable. Make sure all the circuits are good and not being overloaded all that fun stuff. https://www.rollitup.org/f/grow-room-design-setup.66/
Yea I got tent set up now and ordered fan and light today be here next week.
Ok when i get it setup next week i post what reading im getting

It might be a little tight to fit four 5 gallon pots in a tent that size but you might just be able to do it if you manage the shape of your plants well.

4 plants in a 4x4 is ideal. You have to overwater to get 20% runoff. I was using 7 gallons of water/feed for four 5 gal pots, and only 5 gallons of water/feed for four 3 gallon pots. Read up Botanicare, it's pretty good, mostly organic and as easy if not easier to use than FF trio. I forgot to mention Liquid Karma, it's optional but does seem to help. I use Pure Blend Pro Grow/Bloom (for hydro), Liquid Karma, CalMag+, and Silica Blast. Look at their expert schedule:

One more thing, FF Ocean Forest is great stuff, but you may consider something cheaper like Promix or Sunshine Advanced Mix #4. I grabbed a huge 3L compressed bale of Sunshine off Amazon for fifty bucks which could easily be enough for two runs of four 3 gal pots. A hydro store may be able to get it too. Water with 6.0ph nute solution all the way through, pretty damn easy. You can germinate in it, transplant, very user friendly, no extra perlite needed, it's peat, coco, and perlite, very light and airy. Lots of other info and tips but making a solid medium/nute choice and pot size are great first steps.

Here's 4 3 gallon pots in a 3x3. I had a 4x4 in a room but switched to a 3x3 to fit it into a closet..

What do u mean by (hydro) ? as in water not soil?
say u got like week 1 seedling do u mix all those nutes into a one gallon jug of water?
Only give nutes every other watering right?

Sunshine mix is considered a soilless medium so you use hydro nutes and schedule. There are two Botanicare feed schedules, soil and hydro. Hope that makes sense. You'll typically not feed until the third week or so. Check that Botanicare link and the expert (non soil) schedule.

The best advice I can give is having a problem chart pritty close to you and daily check up on leafs, leafs stems and the stem in general.....

If you look carefully the plant will tell you what she would like next it took me 13months and now I can grow nice beautiful budds, and I still cock up lol

This is the site
http://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-cannabis-nutrient-and-deficiency-table-n88

I use for starters to see what's the problem or what I think it is
Then move to( grow weed easy) sorry I don't have that link but easily found on Google and type read up they have a bigger list on what's causing the issue more easy to narrow down the issue and where you are going wrong.

Hope it helps, good luck and welcome buddy

Just don't mix synthetic nutrients with organic soil.

What im going to use isnt synthetic is it?
Ocean Forest is a great organic starter that won't need nutes added for a few weeks I'd imagine. I've used an inert medium in contrast so you could research "when do I add nutes." Some like known, straight organic. Botanicare is mostly organic, with some salt based nutrients I guess. It's good stuff though. Worrying about it vs. known organic is pro shit
