Pic update day 34

Day 34_1.jpgDay 34_5.jpg

The two in the soil pots in the background are 20 days old. The one in the left soil pot has been topped. The one in the right soil pot is all natural, no training or cutting done to it.

The two in the 5gallon bucket are on day 34 and still no signs on sex. They have been on 12/12 for 2 days now. The left one in the DWC has been LST'd and the one on the right has been Topped and LST'd.

How do they look ladies and gentlemen?

Day 38 update.

IT'S A GIRL!

IMG_4497.jpgIMG_4498.jpgIMG_4496.jpgFemale.jpg

The soil plants are on Day 24 from seed with no signs of preflowers yet. The 2 in the DWC are both on day 38 from seed and are female. We are on Day 3 of 12/12.

Questions, Comments, Advice??? I need some input please!

Yeah the first 2, which are autos in the DWC 5 gallon bucket, are autos and I almost killed them. I thought for sure they were dying so I then planted 2 more bubblelicious fem regular photoperiods. Well, the 2 in the DWC survived and are doing very well. So I decided to put them all on 12/12 since I have the regulars too. It's been 4 days since I first noticed preflowers.

Thanks for watching!

hey lulu, looking great man!

How far is your lights from foliage? Looks to me about over a foot from foliage in one of your recent pics. If I were you, i'd be safe in lowering it to about 6 inches from foliage. Thats just what i would do though. Good luck lulu!

I usually keep it a foot to 18 inches away. I'm using a 400w hps. You think that's too far away?

I didn't read through the thread... but those little "shoots" you are referring to are called Stipules.
They are just part of the anatomy of a plant.... almost all flowering plants have some sort of stipules.

Yeah I learned that. Haha, I feel so stupid but I know we all have to learn that at some point. They are flowering pretty well now and I now can tell the difference. Very easy to spot now that I know what I'm looking at. Thanks for the info Supgee3.

Day 48 from seed. Day 13 of flowering.

Just a little pic update. The only thing I have to report is that my lower leaves and branches are dying and dropping off quite a bit and turning pale yellow too. Weird. I have no idea why but everything else seems fine. Flowering is fine. I guess I will ignore it unless someone can suggest what the problem might be. My ppm is about 650, ph 5.9, res temp 75, ambient temp 85.

The 2 in planted in soil are at Day 34 from seed and about Day 10ish of flowering. The 5 gallon DWC bucket is day 48 from seed and day 13 of flowering.

Enjoy!

Looks awsome my friend, so....did you go 12/12 with the auto's? I am going to give my Nirvana auto's one more week of 18/6 if no signs I may switch.... =)

I did go 12/12 with my auto's. But afterwards I found out from someone that heard from nirvana that thier auto strains start to flower withing 3 to 5 weeks which is a little later than most autos. I would let them stay on 18/6 if I were you. If you have enough room for them to potentially get really big. I guess it just depends on how big you want them to get.

I did notify Nirvana of the issue and they assured me that they would flower on thier own but I switched anyway because I had some regular fems going also. I started the regulars because I thought my autos were going to die. OOOPS!!! haha
