Lockdowns work.

They had human to human transmission before any of them. Swedish patient zero flew straight in from Wuhan on the 24th of January. I know that is news to you, but I was actually paying attention to the Wu-flu at that point, when people were making silly comments and memes and shitposting in my thread about it.

The nature of viral spreads is geometric. So when cases are doubling every certain number of days, a place can see such growth if it had a very long headstart. New York had 328 cases only 36 days ago. Their curve still isn't flat and it's in the tens of thousands of new cases per day. They have one of ths strictest lockdowns in the world. Aside from that, the Swedes seem to believe that their healthcare capacity is ready to absorb it. They are certainly absorbing it better than New York is.
that didn't explain why Sweden now has more cases than all others combined.
if lockdowns dont' work, then Sweden should have less, not more.

Until more people are tested everywhere, it is impossible to claim your conclusion as a fact.

If lockdowns do work, wouldn't killing those who are infected "work" even better ? Or is threatening to kill them if they leave their house, as far as you will go?

Stanley Milgram holding on line one sir.

huh? it's a fact that there are more proven cases of covid in sweden than all other scandinavian countries combined.

you should stick to topics you are familiar with: like NAMBLA

actually they do.
No they don't lol.

They have less than half the number of cases thay the Netherlands has. Go look it up. They have way slower case growth too, and that's just one Scandinavian country, much less all of them combines like you claimed. If you're going to make a whole mock thread at least research it so you don't come out looking like a moron.

Except you didn't say "proven cases". You said "more cases".

Speaking of child molesters, sure hope you're not in favor of forcibly injecting kids.

Most don’t consider Netherlands as a Scandinavian country.

Why’s that?
Because they're just Europrovinces. Do you know why Netherlands isn't considered "Scandinavian"? Because some king at some point was Catholic and some other king wasn't. I mean really, let's just put Sweden in a group with Norway, Faroe Islands and like one other former Viking tribal haunt and swear Sweden is really not an outlier...

It's the only one of those countries with actual cities.

PS:

They're already trying to end the lockdowns even though people are still dying en masse and there's no vaccine.

Because they fucking have to.

@rkymtnman, I hope you don’t mind me posting here? Let me know if you do and I will gladly leave, thanks! Most of the countries that I’ve seen that are talking of opening up the economy are saying it’s not a great ideal until there is far more accurate testing and infrastructure, so possibly months, in place. That would indicate to me the lockdowns now in place are perceived as a good thing, it seems to some, not so much. I won’t mention names as not to be construed as a personal attack :(. It actually seems there are but a few that are wanting to start quickly due to possibly causing a new more catastrophic wave.
