you're ok. at this stage of seedlings i use a mist bottle for watering. keep medium moist but not wet. being too wet is the major cause of seedling decline. GL

Weigh properly damp cube, the let them dry till they are lighter, like 6-10 hours and water up to original weight, works for me.
Buy a salad spinner to remove excess water from cubes!
save your arm!

DO not move your lamp closer..They are just babys ..chill and smoke a bowl..give it a few days.Just like the other guy said keep moist with water.Your rockwool cubes will start turning a LIGHT white color on the top of them when they are ready to BE MISTED lightly with a Spray bottle with PHed ballanced water turning them dark again.Give a little while when they show some leafs feed LIGHTLY.
Light even though it is a FL. can kill the seeding when it is that young. If the plant had some legs under it you can ajust your bulb down until you think the heat might be hurting them and raise them back up.At this stage they will not handle the heat you will kill them.
I ask that anyone on here who gives advice to others error on the side of caution with someone new.Especially if you are new to growing yourself.
You might just help a guy kill several hundreds of dollars worth of expensive seeds giving out some information.

thanks very much so leave lights as they are, will they stable themselves out ? worried they might get to heavy and fall over. i have 30 plants in there just want to makesure they all come out good, looks like at the mo they are doing ok. Looking at the pictures do you think that is the case

When your seedling as you have them first shoot out they get skinny long stems on them. The sun leaves(first set of leaves showing like yours will turn yellow and fall of as the plant grows. When they start to fall over .They will at first but stand back up you can take a stick and support the shoot or you can transplant into a larger container burying the seedling deep with growing media up around the lower part of the terminal stem to support the plant up until it gets root structure to be strong enough to hold itself upright.

only to right max, but i was just saying that the only way to stop the stretching would be to move the lights closer also in the propegation box all the heat is evenly distributed so there would not be a big variation of heat in such a small container with the exclusion of touching the light.

I have never ever had seedling that sprouted fall over never have I am a newb so take my advise lightly. I keep a oscillating fan on low and mine stand straight up if I take a 4 or 5 day old sprout and make leaves touch ground it flings right back up. And my seedling have been under 4 bulb t5 for 4 days and then I put under 1000 watt mh about 18 incjes away and Ihave 20 leaves on most and only 8 Iinches tall. I then raise lights to allow a little stretching and then relower light and it works good for me.

Other than having 1000 watt light 18" away I couldnt agree more. Seedlings shouldnt fall over. Propagation domes are for just that, propagation, when the seed pops and sheds its shell it doesnt need a dome anymore it needs air and light, not a hurricane but a nice breeze, it will make the lil bastard root and the light will dry the top of the rockwool forcing the roots down to find water. When I germ in treated rockwool they get planted, covered, 2 days on the water heater to pop with no lights on, they get uncovered and put under cfls for 5 days, and then under a 600 mh at 30" and drop it 2" a day. The quicker they get under good light, the quicker they feed, the quicker they feed the quicker they finish. A seedlings leaves shouldng be lighter than when they sprouted, dirt has nutrients, rockwool doesnt
