Little bugs

Pets, houseplants, kitchens, many possibilities.

How are you growing? Soil, hydro? Conditions?

How they got there is future tripping. Kill em all now! In the present.

I was able to wipe off all the webs- wasnt really many and i squashed the little bastards. Noticed the towels looked yellow ish after from wiping off leaves. Will the buds still be smokable. I remember when i was younger I would get a batch that had webs in it ?

Gotta work to keep em away from the start. Now you know! Yes the buds can be smokable. First things first. Get some Dr. Zymes and spray every 3 days. Spray underside of leaves too. After 3 applications check to see if you have any left. Can dunk in h202 after harvest as well.
Depending on your situation it might be easier to start over.

Thanks. I appreciate the advice.

Lost Coast Plant Therapy, Green Cleaner, You've got some options still on the table. Plant therapy can be sprayed up to day of harvest.. Not recommended personally I would stop doing preventative sprays once buds form but prior to that I spray every week starting bottoms of leaves to the tops down spray the tops of your soil, bottoms of leaves is where those bugs are going to hangout and breed. Don't spray top down because then the leaves droop and you're helping the bugs just hide while you spray.

You can spray Plant Therapy on the buds it will not hurt them just don't spray when lights are on and make sure you give them good airflow after spraying but turn the fans off while spraying. Soak bottoms of leaves entirely and get stems and everything in it. They'll be gone after 2 treatments. You will not notice any difference in the pot by harvest and its all natural..

Spinosad is not good to spray on flowers and will fail testing. Not sure if it's safe if they're testing for its presence? Plant therapy, green cleaner and similar products will be harmless and test clean. I have used plant therapy for 3 yrs as a preventitive spray where every week until buds are formed I spray bottoms of leaves and then tops stalks everything! I want no bugs no diseases and that stuff will work, there are cheaper homemade options honestly citric acid will probably kill them on direct contact and it'll be safe.. PT contains citric acid.

Me personally I want any bug or disease to have to pass through the full gauntlet while staying natural.. I've been looking into predatory insects.

That sucks. Watch for powdery mildew, that's what I got when I got thrips, they can transmit the PM on their feet. After I dealt with the thrips, I had to toss the whole crop anyway due to PM.

I've had thrips that may have come in Ocean Forest, and I also had fungus gnats that definitely came in a bag of Ocean Forest. I am now pre-treating the soil with a gallon of boiling water, to pasteurize and kill any eggs that lay dormant.

The thrips would not be a big issue for me at this stage of growth. The mites are what may hurt you. I would check the underside of the leaves for webbing. If the webbing is well established, it will be hard to penetrate it with spray on the underside of the leaves. Thrips tend to feed on the leaf surface. Mites work on the underside of the leaves............... Those mottled specs you see on the leaf surface may be from mites under the leaves.........

Thrips will go down with a mite treatment. If the mites have not webbed up very bad you can still hit them with NEEM or insecticidal soap and stay away from the flowers as much as you can. I assume it is the only plant you have with issues. If possible, isolate it from the others for a couple days to treat.

If they have webbed up- I would use a NEEM product since it is systemic and can still be used to a few days from harvest. Neem wont kill many adult mites but it stops them from feeding and laying eggs. It smells but has been my best material for established spider mites.

Before spraying a product- I would get an idea of how far they have spread if you have other plants. Spraying can repel some to other plants. And I.D. the culprits for certain to see how much and how far the numbers have spread. Eggs may be involved and I believe NEEM will be better at killing them. They can hatch up to a month from the time they are layed and show as pin head little clear dots on the leaf underside................ you can pinch infested leaves that show webbing if it is not too bad.

Best regards- we all have to respond to the little turds sooner or later in the grand scheme of things.

If it is only the one plant - you always have the option to toss it...................... But I would get a magnifying glass and get a closer look to be sure of how established they really are. Once you deal with them the first time- you will be much better adept to find them early and to deal with them if and when they appear again.
