i use it since i started was running 2x 250 w lights a hps -eye hortilux an a cmh - phillips
my hydro guy talked me into it - it makes a lower wattage light perfoem as if it was a much higher wattage
great for flouros cmh 250's - it must be used wit penatrator (penatrator seems to be like a soap spray kinda)
can be used up untill 1/2 flower - to be used wit all on lights, an fans

i now run a 4oow hps an a 250 cmh - same bulbs in a double hood called a growzilla
oh i keep my uvb hanging offf da side of my double hood varried spectrum
uvb is great if you use lower wattage as well

gluck to all

Thats all i was trying to say about the dutchmaster stuff. I was just trying to understand the specific product rather than assume its good just because the brand name. Perfect example my dude.

sorry i havent looked much into floral feeding and how plants absorb shit

in "botany of desire" though its thought cannabis previously used trichomes to catch bugs and eat them
Have you ever seen any type of bug at all stuck to your MJ plants?
I haven't, I have had several outbreaks of gnats and I have never even seen a gnat stuck to a MJ plant.

I am more inclined to believe they really didn't know what resin/trichomes were for so they just made a guess that sounds reasonable.

Until I find pests sticking to my plants, I will think they are wrong.

well althor its good to know that because it didn't happen in your garden its not true.......

me on the other hand I've seen tons of gnats stuck to my plants... in facts its the most annoying thing I've ever had to deal with as a grower.

Maybe you have strains with lower crystal count? my headbands needs to be picked over like a fucking monkey every day. I've caught live ones in their before so it appears to me they are getting stuck not just dying and falling onto the plant. its amazingly annoying. i figure if the plant catches them they will start to break down and feed the plant sooooo ya, they kinda STILL do it, i just pluck em off before they can eat them.

I have this Liquid Light from Dutchmaster sitting on my shelf that cost my buddy $200. Anyone know if this stuff is any good or how it actually works? The company claims it optimizes the plants Calvin Cycle but can anyone explain how it works or increases plant growth rates?
Calvin????

Just some articles about manipulating the Calvin cycle etc.

Maybe in here lies information pertaining to chemicals or enzymes that manipulate the Calvin cycle then cross reference ingredients of liquid light in order to ascertain whether there is anything in it that does what it says.

In the past 2 years, I have grown with, and without LL & Saturator. Part of using the entire range DM Gold nutrients. I do not feel it helped enough to justify its' price, if it helped at all.

Come to think of it, since stopping using them, I no longer have gnat issues

Neither did I find using the DM Gold to be awesome: Good, not awesome. Hydroponic-Research VEG+BLOOM is awesome, and I'm not paying to ship water
