You can find a decent LED light for under $200. For your space and just one plant I would use a small light from Viparspecta, Spider Farmer or Mars Hydro. Be Careful. I wound up buying bigger lights and tents as my interest in this sport increased. I think your light is the most important investment. Don't buy a cheap piece of junk. Good luck.

Most integrated UV doesn't do anything. There was a thread on it around here somewhere with some good data.
This is a relatively new product that states its improved upon the UV process. Its UVA as well, not UVB (might have that backwards) which can burn human skins/plants.
I purchased it from a local store that was raving about it, and its well constructed by a california company. I like that because I can talk to someone if issues arise, and I paid cash for it in store :)

Sounds like you got it backwards. UVB is stronger. They sell UVA lights too though.

I'd be curious to know what diodes they use for UV and how many.
 
The more lumens the better in the right spectrums but it doesn't really seem to matter here. I have 58,000 lumens for veg using cheap 5000k shop lights and great value 100 watt equivalent LED A19 bulbs all from walmart(got some of them on sale or clearance like the 4- 3 swivel LED GE screw in utility lights) and 16 great value bulbs on the sides and a 1000 watt cheap HPS digital hood setup I bought on amazon and have been growing several grows and only had to change out 3 LED bulbs from them burning out just recently. A total setup of around 140,000 to 160,000 lumens depending on how wore out the HPS is getting. I built a LED hood with 2 shop lights, and 4 of those LED swivel GE lights for VEG and then pull the hood off and fire up the HPS in the flower stage. You don't need a ton of power vegging. I use around 400 watts of LED in veg and around 1700watts in flower.

I have more in my grow journal. The thermostat wire is going to go to a 145f degree manual reset limit switch that will cut off if the fan or duct work becomes damaged or doesn't work and provide the light with enough cooling. The HPS cooled hood produces less heat than all of the LED bulbs so cooling the room is a must. I like running my temps at around 65 in full flower and up to 78f in veg stage. I run the lights at night to save on electricity(time of use demand) and heat generated by the daytime can overwhelm the cheap window A/C I have in the room. Winter time here is nice because the A/C doesn't run and the room pulls in cold fresh air from outdoors with a blower fan. When the outside temp reaches 62-65 degrees, the control box will switch the incoming cooling from outside air to the A/C.
