Lighting question

You can find a decent LED light for under $200. For your space and just one plant I would use a small light from Viparspecta, Spider Farmer or Mars Hydro. Be Careful. I wound up buying bigger lights and tents as my interest in this sport increased. I think your light is the most important investment. Don't buy a cheap piece of junk. Good luck.

Lol we were just joking and his grows are very nice.
Get out of your feelings.
I don't know who's who yet. Your right. My niece explained to me what a "troll" is. Sad people with no other outlet to share their misery. Not everyone is a troll. This forum should have a "Most Ignored" listing to save us all time. Bk 78 is OK by me so far. Did'nt realize you were joking and I do have some respect for you. :peace:

I’m not sure the infatuation with C02. C02 is definitely something that plants need but I don’t think it’s something that NEEDS to be supplemented especially if you don’t have a sealed room and it’s definitely way down on the list of things I would worry about. Way down on my list. Just my 2c. First off you’re growing under cheap low watt Home Depot leds do you think adding C02 will magically make you grow “fire weed”?

35 to 50w per sq ft for flower is the way to go.

As Nope said, I'd keep those lights for cloning/seedling/veg and get more intense light for flower.
Clarifying question, when you suggest the calculation begins with 35-50w per sq feet, do you mean length/width only? Or the total volume of grow space which includes height?
My grow space = 5ft x 2.67ft x 6.67ft. Using all three dimensions = 89sq feet, vs just WxL = 13.35 sq feet.
Which number do you use to complete the math?
For the sake of simplicity I used 40w x 13.35sq = 534, or if its 40w x 89sq = 3560.

When looking at grow lamps some boast 4000w, but they look cheaply made and I doubt I need (or they produce) that many.
Other folks suggest on this forum state I need close to 450-500w in total for my space, so I see potential value in either calculation. Thoughts?
