Light problem

My timer malfunctioned last night. It did t turn off last night like it was supposed to and it's been on since 6 am yesterday. Do I turn the light off until tomorrow morning, or do I keep it on until it turns off tonight? A couple of my plants are looking really badly burnt

Sounds like your light is too close .
Are you in flower? What light, how close to plants?

No. They're not anymore. They're at least 4 ft away. I've been having problems with these lights being too intense. They say to be at like 40 or so in bag and 30 or sorting like that in flower. A d I've left my blinds lights on accidentally from using them to look at the plants in regular type looking light and they've gotten burnt with the light being 3ft. I don't get it honestly

what kind of lights are you running? in veg you can run 24hrs on if they are in good health.

They're in good health. The lights are 2 2500w phlizon Cob lights. They're about 200w give or take 25 on each setting. They're somewhat hot on the 5 w cobs. I only run the blurple in veg.

and you are keeping them at 4ft? ok post some pics under white lights pls, i want to see these plants.

they look very dry in the pots and i’ve never ever kept my lights 4ft away from the plants not even my seedlings.

Maybe just use one of the fixtures for now. Plants don't look too bad

I got 2 because they were the price of a 1000 of a few of the comparable lights of other brands. I honestly figured that they would be much worse than they are. I Allah done want one of the lights to just sit and I figured as long as they weren't to close, they wouldn't be too much. I think before I got the other one hung after I transplanted, I had the light at about 30 to maybe 34.they've seemed extremely bright since I got them. I've had gnats, I've had a cat attack, this is happening now. This is my first indoor grow. I just hope they give me something. I feel like they couldn't be any more stressed throughout their short lives as they have been. But they've never stunted and they're growing very well. Thanks for the help

Get an in-tent wifi thermometer, check it daily and if you notice the temps not dropping at lights out, you know you have a problem right off.
