Bro an interesting thing about that dudes setup that relates to "penetration" is that when you have the overlapping footprints the light is diffused differently than a single source.Leaves lower in the canopy receive light that hasnt been filtered by the leaves above it. In a highly reflective room with multiple light sources "penetration" will easily exceed an overhead single light source. High quality led rigs are built this way sometimes using a cob above each plant, spreading the light out over the garden. dude in video is kinda doing same thing.

Best "penetration' is gonna come from dispersed, multiple sources of light in a reflective space. Also having a bud at the base of a 30" stem doesnt mean that light in "penetrating" teh canopy 30"

Really doesn't matter @testiclees But nugs are much more dense than other lights and stack better IMO. Very nice grow. Stacking nicely.
