Hey,
Wondering about light height vs light intensity to get the proper amount of lumens to the canopy. During veg I've read you want between 25-50k lux. So my question is, does it matter if you achieve that through light height from the canopy or you get it from intensity. I ask because I cannot run my lights at 100%, I just get too much heat in my tent (85 to 87 if I run 100%).
So right now during veg I'm running the lights at 40% at about 16" from the canopy which gives me 40-45k lux. Is there any discernible difference between getting that lumen output from height vs intensity? From what I can see, the only difference should be the light spread when running it closer to the canopy. But any thoughts on this matter?
Thanks.
