Tiger Bloom allone doesnt have enough Nitrogen. Its totally wrong to lower Nitrogen in flowering.
In flowering the plant needs a small amout more of everything up until the last 2 weeks before chop.
IMHO and from what Ive read from places doing tissue samples, a 1-1-2 ratio is optimum.
I use Master Blend 4-18-38...15.5-0-0 Calcium Nitrate, and Epsom Salts. I much prefer getting my Nitrogen/Calcium, and Magnesium/Sulfur from Calcium Nitrate, than Epsom Salts, than any other sources, unless Im doing organic.
But regardless of nutrient source, balance is key, and you basically need as much Nitrogen, as you do Phosphorus.
Also if you notice Fox Farm blends both Tiger Bloom, and Grow Big in flowering. Tiger Bloom alone isnt enough nitrogen
I also dont believe in changing from aveg formula, to a bloom formula. Just give them a balanced feed from seedling-flowering. And all that other stuff they, and many others add in is just a money grab, and makes it way more complicated than need be.
If I was doing organic, and wanted to reuse soil. Living Soil is the way to go. Ive also used Peruvian Seabird Guano, both high nitrogen, and phosphorus formulas. Calcitic and Dolomite Lime in a 2/3 calcitic to 1/3 dolomite ratio. Kelp, Azomite, Bioactivator. A small amount of 0-0-52 Potassium Sulfate.. But Living Soil is much easier to reuse.
