not feminized... 10 mins after they were purchased i thought it might have been better to get 1/2 the seeds for the same price, all guaranteed to be females..
but
because i allways like to make myself feel better about things... i'm wondering if its possible to cross the ppp & ww.. if so, then i may have just opened up a sex studio.



i cant wait until the get here. finally something worth putting a name on the pot!

i didn't know that about the lower branches, luckly all my cuttings were from the lower half, so i should be good to go.

i haven't made any head way, with the cool tube idea. first i have to find some relays that can handle what ever the hps needs, i think it has to be pulse voltage rated or something. then i hope i will use the cooltube on my vegg side, as i don't have a hood or anything for that.

the cuttlings are finally starting to show bumps and some super small root sites. its been a while, but i figured this much. i have only changed the water once, its super humid were there at and warm i also just added more light above the clones.



todays update. i just put down a couple of bag seeds. nothing special.

the little ones are doing nicely and need a new name. maybe 2nd rounders. they will slowly go into the flower shop. when ever i get the urge...


i'm guessing this journal will just continue and continue as thats what my grows doing. my guess would be after a few seeds to smoke i would stop following along with a journal. its still a while away of course, so don't go any where.

i hope to get some pics with my blackberry, still don't have a camera and its been a while.

i haven't posted my new box yet. so here is a glimmer. the bottom is screen and there is a side screen window about 6 tall. this allows for passive cooling. i run my fan when outside temps are above 50.

i am thinking about installing a small 5 inch fan to help lower my humidity. it is often 50-80 depending on when i watered.

you can see the clones fairly well. they are under low wattage until they root.



i also just ordered seeds.

the flowering plant is starting to look good with the bud sites filling in nice. it doesn't smell a whole lot right now though.

there is no sign of sex on the two smaller plants i put into flower a couple of days ago. didn't think there would be yet. these are very young plants.


i may put a few of the plants i germinated today in 12/12 as soon as they start getting nutes. i may also try a few tricks with them as well.


everyone will be ready for another drink of goodness tommorow.

i picked the buds off of the clones. not much, but why not, i'm hoping to get a faint taste of what is to come...

I can cross these plants. And If i have any males at all i will... HAHAHA (like a mad scientist would laugh).

i found this https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/20319-seed-production-tutorial.html it answered all my q's about seeding. it looks so easy.

from what i understand about the males is once you see a sac you can move them to some harsh location, just ensuring they survive with of course 12/12 type schedule or even 8/16, thats right a winter window sill. the pollen will not become less potent. not sure yet, but i may set up a cfl on his sac site and cut the rest of the plant.

yikes- i'm glad i'm not a marijuana plant.


i'm way ahead of myself here. but i bet selecting the right music when its time to spread the love has a big importance on the success rate.



i'm going to check on those seeds. still a little early, though...

Hey Pimp, Your setup is looking SWEET!!! If you want to try a cheap but very good camera check out a Minolta S414 on ebay. I had one myself and only sold it to upgrade to a better one once I learned to use a digital. You can get one for about $50, used of course. I'll be sure to check out that seeding link. Would like to get into more but typing is slower than usual typing with one hand. (messed one up at work) And need to go get high before the sunday night cartoons come on. Can't miss Family Guy. :peace:

and for today- i think one of the newly flowering plants is a female. hoo ray. its still a bit early, but i have seen a few glimmers of hair on a few branches.

the other one, i'm not sure, it may be a dude. its still to early to say, but i don't see any hairs and its somewhat unfamiliar.

of course, i will give breeding a shot. i would love to run through it a few times b4 i try with my bestest to come.

all my temps were at 62, humidity in flower box is around 40.

i seemed to burn my tallest bud. it must have grew over night. so i raised my light. and took off the burnt bud. not a big deal. even though it was the tallest it wasn't the biggest.

i have one leg starting to kick out. the others just look normal. 2 more days tops and then i will pronounce them dead on arrival. remember though, there just bagseed. but they were big and looked fully done.

thats it! oh, and i had contact with my seed vendor. yippie! way to excitied about the future

but like i just smoked that which i popped off. it was dried or cooked under the light so why not. it looked great in my pipe. it had orange and greens that i don't often find in my pipe. and i did get high. geez, thats great, its no where done. its an uppy high, but i would imagine a lot could change between now and harvest day.

this is turning out to be the best sport...
 
Pimp - way to go on the first smoke, I'm glad it worked out. You'll get a nice finished product I'm sure!

I just got 2 of my papaya seeds crack through soil today :)

ah, yes, super excitied. this whole thing has really been somewhat unbelievable. and whats to come just keeps getting better. wow!!!


i didn't get a delievery note , they let me know that my ship to address couldn't be a different state than my billing. i fixed that and now i'm assuming were ok.

going to check my friends....
