HELLO . Wish happy growing with that DIY stuff, cob is a good fixture, it's been using for plants growing now? hope to see some nice plants from you.I ordered parts from cobkits and built COB LED fixtures. I am just getting into the forum and just wanted to say hello to everyone.
Im guessing that's not the COBkits most of us know.Haha, I checked the COBKITS, I didn't know they guy sell led parts before, i think i do will buy parts and diy my lights in future the guy is a well technician .

Yeah agree , 18/6 or 20/4 that most guys run .There is a thread in General Growing with going to even 8 on 16 off. I am actually at 10:15 on 13:45 off (best I could sinc timers in my outage prone place).
Wow looks soo good there the flower.
You mistranslated that. Opposite I think you think.Yeah agree , 18/6 or 20/4 that most guys run .
Its aluminum angle and not that heavy. I just attached them to 2 x 4s mounted ro studs on the ceiling. I cant remember the number of angle but it is very light.Wow looks soo good there the flower.
Btw, what total weight for the light set? seems a little solid but heavy. How will you hang it up by self i am little curious. it can use to cover a 4*4 area ?
yes, just noticed that, oh 8 on 16 off, very different as many ppl did,but dont know if it makes big difference .Yeah agree , 18/6 or 20/4 that most guys run .
Haha. the picture not tells the truth, I guess wrong. Will the light produces strong lighting ? i just saw the light with a chip in centre. wanna how it works in the canopy. Light on ! light on!Its aluminum angle and not that heavy. I just attached them to 2 x 4s mounted ro studs on the ceiling. I cant remember the number of angle but it is very light.
I would treat it like any other board of the same type. Start 24" away if on full power and lower if they can take it.Trying first LEDs after mine first LED fixture that was blurple Viparspectra... and i didnt like those funny colours
diode fixture, maybe its OK for veg..
Now i aquired those 4 X Zeus 308 XT with 4 additional red-blue arrays to sees what she can done..
anybody knows whats the distance needed between Zeus fixture and plants so they grow optimum???
Friend that helps me assemble this fixture says that i can go few inches from fixture, but still its pretty strong
light and i dont wish to burn them... any good info will help..

Thanx for answer man.. think i have them closer cause this are not those smaller boards, but these are like 44x28.5 cm boards so diodes are more spread.. i know Quantum Boards have advice of these bigger heights for their boards..but these are like double a size of QB if we talk dimensions of board..I would treat it like any other board of the same type. Start 24" away if on full power and lower if they can take it.
If you dim them they can go a lot closer.
You would be best to dim the fixture for plants so small and work up gradually so its at max when you flip to flower.
Also please remind me of the shop that sells them, it German but I always forget the name.
Yeah i thought they looked a bit less dense on diodes.Thanx for answer man.. think i have them closer cause this are not those smaller boards, but these are like 44x28.5 cm boards so diodes are more spread.. i know Quantum Boards have advice of these bigger heights for their boards..but these are like double a size of QB if we talk dimensions of board..
Am have now Zeus 308 positioned 25 cm from tops, fixture works on full power and plants growing good.. i dont sees i stunt them or they bleach fan leafes so i am not sure about those double distance you give advice..
have feel i can go even closer, think it will be best for me some gadget that measures
those light values and output to catch this sweet spot for plants and fixture..
Shop is LED TECH.DE..https://www.led-tech.de/en/ZEUS-308-XT-High-Performance-KIT-3500k
Tent is 1x1x2 meters dimensions...
Am not work for those Zeus shop so you will definitly hear from me truth after i finish this run...Yeah i thought they looked a bit less dense on diodes.
They are nice boards.
Yeah a good chap on here pointed a few folks toward those Zeus boards a while back.Am not work for those Zeus shop so you will definitly hear from me truth after i finish this run...
all i can say for now is that i love how plants reactes and they started to shoot branches
that are nice fat.. am supercropping them to keep them leveled in same height, trying to
made them bushes...
if they show good i will then buy some more as these is EU shop and those fixture is more easy
to buy.. but i definitly like those HLG QB and Sabre model that am special interested..
In Zeus shop they get some new arrays so you can combine all kind of spectral outputs, mixing
specters,etc.. think i will buy more of them to give better specter for plant growth..
