Here's what they're looking like. I did a bit of de-fol. Not sure if I should have or not. But it looks like these lights are working okay for early flower. I think they will def work for veg. But getting better lights for flower is going to be something I will be working towards for sure.

They're 20 watts per light, and six on each side of the "blades".

Lookin' good already! Pretty sure these ladies will fill your stashbox for a while.
Only 2 additional 4ft. EB's at 700mA(~27,5w net) on each side would be 8 strips and around 220w extra.
115$ for strips and as a driver you could use the Meanwell HLG-185H-40A or B(A dimmable to 50% and B is dimmable down to 6%) 50$ shipped. Connect the strips in parallel, two 3 port Wago clamps for each blade and two 5 port Wagos to connect the 4 blades to the driver. Pretty easy and even if you mount the strips on 4ft aluminum strips for more rigidity you should stay below 200$.

Check your local hardware warehouse for equal length light duty aluminum straight edge used for screeding.
It comes in a 3" wide channel, much lighter gauge than U channels, and a fraction of the cost.
8' of this shit is about $15

always been a hid guy, out of the blue, bought an led grow light, not sure exactly if it is a blurple, I have experienced what happens when its too close to younger plants, etc, but do they work or not? It's my secondary closet light, not in use some of the time, but Im not sure what to expect or if there is a trick to getting the best out of them. Any advise greatly appreciated. Its a 300w comparable, uses like 135 I think.Some details, it was a cheapie on Amazon, but again, unless all blurples are no good, it was way comparable to other more expensive ones, but again, I know shit about em. I have to use it, lol, so tossing not an option.

You can get something out of them. I find they work okay for veg, and they'd probably do better if you can add some 6000 or 6500k lights on the side. But don't think it's going to be fantastic. :)

it was actually just gonna be for seedlings until room inside the main tent, and then as far as chucks goes, in my theory, lol. be flowering one to three med sized plant in a 2x2 closet to finish out.lol, but I get the feeling Ive made a fool of myself with the question, and maybe the buy, lol, boy Im on a roll this weekend. I usually use T5's, but this actually fit the space better and was cheaper. Hearing all the good bout led's etc. lol Thanks gents, wanted an answer, got it, appreciated

Seedlings = no blurple cuz its to intense light
Veg = blurple 3ft above canopy
Flower = blurple on light mover 18in above canopy
Friday night = Blurple Disco party

owe you a steak dinner, mothefucker, lol, I say that in jest. That may be the most spot on description that I found during on the ground research, damned light. 2 foot on seelings, they grew, but layin down. raised to three to four foot, couldn't tell it was doin a damn thing. I wont' sling it out in the yard yet, Im gonna try one time to flower some one gallon, non esesential medicinal plants in there and see what happens. Place it came from was like 48 from seeds, 36 from veg 34-18 flower, but boy, nme. Anyhow, you was right

Might ask model number/make of strip you used?
Best place to buy if in Canada if you know or US for that matter.
What driver did you use or did I miss that? As I saw Randomblame's message under yours and wasn't sure I understood it right.

My example, 9 f-series strips ran by a HLG240H24B.

If you want to run 6 stripes than a LPV-150-24 would be my choice of driver. Not dimable and not as efficient as a HLG but for a 2x2 that would be my choice.

Plants on left sure seem to have much bigger buds or is this a different run/strain maybe or the light?
Either look great actually.

I just bought integrated LED lights off Amazon. In the 6000k and 6500k spectrums. About $55 for 8 lights. I think they may have 2 to 3 weeks left at this point. Doing a perpetual grow of Gorilla Glue. I decided to get Crystal Burst and Bud Igniter for the end of flower, along with Cal Mag and AN PH Perfect. These are in coir with perlite.
