Dickkhead, glad to hear you are enjoying your solarstorm! But what about the all white panel (what was it called again?), how is that one working out for you? did you ever harvest with it??
the day star. im giving it another go the plant I had under it yeilded 6 oz but it fed veganics. I want to see how it does with dyna gro over a flood table. the solar storm is doing work over a flood trey the fan leaves are hoooge the combo of dyna and the solar storm are the fastest healthiest growing method ive found to date
and can you post any pictures at all Dickkhead? or no? no offense, I understand if you are unable to for some reason... it just seems like every time I am reading your posts, they sound real interesting and all, but then I've never seen a pic to back it up... thanks in advance
pm me an email adress and ill send you some

anyone notice any bleaching from the black stars? my leaves are yellowing I think I had them to close but vic from LH said 10, 12'' for best results and these are field studied numbers but it seems way to close for a 900 watt panel?

Try 1.5 - 2'. If you are seeing bleaching, move up. If you are not supplementing with cal-mag, add it :)

Thanks for that I was using tap an dyna gro a lot f guys say u don't need it but after talking to the rep he said you do need it so I added mag pro and I did raise them to 20" will they ever get there color back?

No once a spot is bleached it's done but the rest of the leaf can still be fine as long as it doesn't get worse. Cal-mag + proper distance should prevent/minimize it - in my experience the further into flower you get the more likely you are to see it

Ok
why are guys saying its power cords causing it on hear? And what does it do to HTML the plant kills the leaf pretty much?

Never heard that about power cords - seems unlikely.

I think bleaching at the top is due to the light being too close and the LED light still being too focused and not diffuse enough causing the leaf to basically burn out... just a guess. I think the LED lighting also just makes the plant need to use mg and ca more than HPS lighting for some reason, probably due to the high amount of energy at very specific wavelengths. From what I've seen even though LED light is not super intense to human eyes, it is actually carrying more usable energy for the plants at those specific wavelengths than equivalent HPS. I think it is related to stage of growth as well. My veg plants rarely bleach even almost up to touching the light.

In wej thread guys are bitching that there power cords were causing it? But I've added cal mag n raised them up
And it is weird how in veg it doesn't happen?..

Not really different stages of growth require different nutritional levels. Flowering is a very intensive process it makes sense the plant needs more micronutrients at that time. If it were cords why wouldn't it happen in veg?

Hello everyone just heard from Gotham that the end of this month begining of july there coming out with an 8w chip. so lets see what this things going to do!

Hi everyone.I"m new here and tryin to get some info together so I dont waste feminized seeds from the seed-bank.The company I"m dealing with says that the type I bought was indoor/outdoor,and they auto-flower without changing the light cycle.Anyway, that wasnt really the question.I see alot of these posts are old,and was wondering if anyone had success with the L.E.D"s?

If you're growing ruderalis (autoflower) feminized seeds it's already a lost cause, but that's not the subject of this thread ;) Tons of people have had success with LEDs. Like any grow just a matter of dialing it in through experience/trial & error.

Anyone know anything about this company or their lights?

http://ledmio.com/?ui=desktop

I saw their name on an upcoming indoor garden expo ad. The website isn't the best but the product is intriguing.
Yup, thats why I was seeing if anyone knew anything about them. I emailed them last night, just waiting on a response. Whatever they say I will post here.
Only intriguing because the website provides no real useful info... light could be great or a POS - no way to know as they did not provide the LED output specs. Lame.
Here's the replyback I recieved from ledmio. They are pretty expensive and appear to have a pretty industry standard spectrum. Would like more infoon the specs still before writing them off:

Thank you very much for your interest in our product.

Our MSRP for AL-BR20W is $285.00 USD. We do give discount for multiple units orders. Our lights cover area is between 1 sq/ft to 1.5 sq/ft per unit it all depends which type of plants you are intented to use it with.

Please find attached image as our LED lights have the same ``Chlorophyll A`` The peaks of chlorophyll A are at 665 nm and 465 nm . Our LED lights run very close to these two specific range.

If you any other question please let me know, I will be at your service. Thank You.

Hey Dickhead and everyone else,
I started my grow journal. Plant cam is up and on. I will also be taking photos with a better camera throughout the grow. Also here is a little vid from harvest time of my last grow that my trimmer took. http://youtu.be/Y6e9E7QTqZ0 if you have any feedback let me know
