yes fucking way ....
funny tho seems most of the up and coming cob grow lights seem to be "designing the lights" with shipping as the design priority.

So many pages, so many scrolls. Thank you for making this list, it was incredibly helpful. I'm shopping for a veg light.^^^660 blast in the morning and 730 in the evening? Big blue burst in mid-day? Or complete BS? I like the idea but IDK if we're there yet with the knowledge for playing on and off with monos all day. Especially with cannabis.
So whose worthy nowadays??? In my little world it's: (In no particular order)

And you could probably put CLW here too. Sorry George but you can do better dammit!
Hatin':
Any Platinum Dog-Star,Kind-a-Lush G8'd, Blu-Greek-God-Spider-King psuedo-COB panel pushing 10,000 watts that promises to replace the sun with10,12, 14 bands of full spectrum brilliance pumped out from some poorly cooled mystery LED and pimped out from some company's legally untouchable marketing department is not high on my list atm. The Cake has always been a lie folks.

Probably missed a few. Anyone got anyone else? I know GGs not up there, I figure that's a safe bet for a light that works. I heard AP is starting up something. If it works he owes everyone a buck a unit I say. Or a job .
A lot of marketing BS and no real data.Have we mentioned NewLux (http://www.newlux.com/) yet? I searched for this company in this thread and didn't find the name so I'm assuming we haven't mentioned them. I'm not sure if those lights qualify as COBs, but they seem to be a pretty serious company and have carved out a niche for themselves plus anyone who offers water-cooling as an option is OK in my book .
COB 700 High Output LED Light

Water cooled technology increases output and efficiency Auto dimming capabilities Small footprint high power LED fixture Higher PAR Value than HPS Fixtures 400 Spectrally Tuned micro LED on 4 modules 4 Optically Tuned Fish Eye Lenses Various lens types depending on mounting height & spread High PAR Value Delivery Available in COB 150, 250 & 350------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------New LED lighting now has some major advantages over HPS Lighting. Energy savings, superior growth efficiency and light longevity are the primary reasons why growers are now choosing LED lighting. When cooling technology is added to LED lighting, these benefits are only further increased. Two types that are most commonly used with LED lighting are: Active and Water Cooling Technology.
Benefits of LED Water Cooling Technology vs. Active Cooling
Newlux Research Center
http://www.newlux.com/2015/09/15/benefits-of-led-water-cooling-technology-vs-active-cooling/#.VhHWSOxVhBc
Active Cooling is a basic air fan cooling system in which airflow directed from fans, cool the LED Lights. Active Cooling is popular due to it’s low cost and ease of use.
Water Cooling is a newer and more advanced cooling technology that uses water flow to lower the heat levels from within the system. This method not only saves energy but gives growers additional options to divert and use this heat to warm crops or use with another applications. If a simpler setup is desired, growers can connect a chiller to cool the water in the system.
The popularity of Water Cooling Technology is increasing steadily due to overall cost savings, longer life span and greater efficiency.
Benefits of LED Water Cooling Technology vs. Active Cooling
More than 50% energy savings. Increased expected LED lifespan. Increased intensity 30% in PAR output.Through innovation, extensive research and testing NewLux has developed an effective system that uses both Active and Water Cooling technology. This system that allows a higher output using less energy, is showing remarkable results in the LED Lighting market.
What color would u chooseNice Looking Case Jimmy
purple please ?What color would u choose

For veg commercially, many go for illumitex, but for the garage grower, they're a little pricey given no rebates. So many pages, so many scrolls. Thank you for making this list, it was incredibly helpful. I'm shopping for a veg light.
That looks familiar!I am sure the same factory in China will give ya TopBin 3070s if ya ask nicely

Its probably one of the better chinaman fixtures if ya can getem to put 3070s in it?That looks familiar!
I'd get a racing stripe on it. Red, tell people it improves the far red spectrum. They'll believe it.
Would be great. To put 4 cxb3590cd and a mean well it's only $325 from jerry at kingbrightIts probably one of the better chinaman fixtures if ya can getem to put 3070s in it?
