Hey Friends...

Seen this light and it has all these features like built in timer, wireless remote, and dimmers ect... Is this the way of the world now? Should i be dimming my lights and shit?
Whats wrong with a basic timer and light that turns on and off?

Can someone please explain to me the advantages of a light like this so i know.... Thanks.

For 650, you could buy a pretty dope premade CoB from Timber, HLG, CoBkits, Cutter etc. You could DiY a bunch of quantum boards and drivers etc.

I do have extra cash. My wife makes a lot of money and i pretty much do what i want and buy what i want. I think i'll buy some lights with her money just so i can say i tried it. I'm not into listening to some smart ass stoner troll who has no valuable input.

Hope that ocean land don't come with hurricanes my brotha from anotha motha!

he's just telling you to be careful because this stuff pops up and tells you it's the best thing ever and there is no real world proof to back it up. and the marketing line that says it's "specifically designed for medical plants" seems like a really hokey attempt at luring in unsuspecting new growers that are trying to make a quick buck. In the end, it's your money, well, your wife's money. what's hers is hers, what's yours is also hers. lol. buyer beware. do your research.

I wasn't even considering buying this light. I was using it as an example. I was just wanting peoples opinions on why a light needs remotes and dimmers and stuff. He went all "rude mode" on me implying that i'm dumb, and now he's calling me names. I have Zero respect for this rykmtnman guy.
