1.5 tsp DB sugar
1 Gallon of RO water.

Mix (shake to dissolve) till dissolved and use at 10 ml per gallon of feed solution.
The Mg sulfate mix will cost you less then a buck a gallon to make! The same shit in a grow shop will cost $65 a gallon!
pH the nutrient solution to 6.7 and feed.

STOP use of the Mg supplement at 2 weeks to finish!

Oh dude thank u I’m def going to use this here it seems like a good idea for sure I’m glad I made a good purchase for nutrients those fox farm nutes were also a year old not sure if that matters but it’s time to step my game up a little.
 
Now with the nutrients that I bought do I mix them all together in the water it says not in there concentrated forms to use water as a buffer. It seems it wants me to use all three or 2 at once
 
Hey guys just wanted to show you I also bought this on amazon it’s from the same company blue planet nutrients. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to use this product with my soil especially since I’m growing with leds. Also should I use some with my plant that’s yellowing or?

Yes, in water.

Making a gallon? Follow my directions on how much to use. Add one part at a time and stir each in. pH to 6.5 or (6.7 in bloom). Use.

Ca/Mg is not going to help your problem...

IF you use RO water. You shoule add 5 ml per gallon - before you add nutrients to that water. RO lacks a "buffer" compound, as it's been removed. Ca/Mg acts as that buffer, and replaces in that water the natural Ca and Mg levels found in it before filtering.

If you use soil.....FF soils. It's a good idea to use a Ca/Mg as they are notorious for low or non - lasting Ca/Mg content...Use half the instructed dose - 2.5 - 3 ml per gallon is fine...

Now remember.....Follow MY feeding suggestions I gave in the first answer....... Trust me, you'll like the outcome....

Using organic soils though everything is delayed and buffered, so burn is slower to show and takes way longer to correct. Just to say. I water every day. Use a metered amount to simply carry me to the next day at lights on (always water/feed at lights on). You get more O2 to the roots that way...Very good thing!


Better controlled natural pH swings that way too. Not sitting in wet soil at low pH conditions for extended periods..

What you do works fine! Just my 2 cents..

Thats why I love growing in smaller pots. Water more often, more o2 and fresh nutes

Interesting MagSulfur recipe. Can you explain why you use DB sugar instead of like BS Molasses?

Amen on the AACT...I use Ancient Forest Alaskan Humus, BS Molasses and GH Floraliscious plus in my teas, I only mix it in my water at 20-25% concentration.
 
Hey guys I just want to ask a question so I got this on amazon I was thinking since I’ve heard from a couple people to buy dolomite lime so I purchased this on amazon. What do you think and how much should I mix this with in one bag of fox farm ocean forest. Is this a good product ?

I'm using 5 gallon pots and have been watering 1 gallon per plant per feeding/watering, every other day since week 2 of flower. stretched I to 3 and the pot is bone dry. Also using cloth pots they drain/breathe very well.:cool:

Heaping half a cup and spread out the whole bag of soil and "dust" the soil and mix well!

Sure.

I get a far better carb content delivered by the refined sugar over the molasses... Better (faster) micro feeding, for faster bio expansion. Thus better availability and increased uptake. Still get the benefit of some micro's from the brown part.

If it's micro's your shooting for at the rates in molasses. I prefer to ferment my molasses and use the results., adding that to the formula's as another ingr.

Add molasses and water to thin the molasses by 50% - So 1:1 water to molasses.
Add a brewers yeast and let it sit in a jug with a bubbler on top (beer/wine making shop for this stuff) and let it run 10-14 days.
Now pour into a stock pot and lightly boil or simmer down by 50% - back to that syrup consistency. This evaporates the alcohol and kills the yeast off.
Use that at 1 tsp to a gallon of that or any mix that you want to add an organic micro source to...

I add this to my 6% K sulfate mix.....

My teas are basic
EWC
Some steer compost
BS Bakers molasses (Has a higher sugar content)

I never add Kelp meal to AACT as it inhibits the bio counts by as much as 45%!

Sometimes I might add a bit of Dr. Earths alfalfa meal to add some more light NPK value....This is also the mix that gets sprayed on our fields in the spring....(organic farm and a massive Vortex brewer)

So, see what I mean about the sugar and the molasses.....Not a fan of putting raw molasses in soils....

Good to know, I don't do it often, prefer it in the form of tea. I'll have to look at the Kelp part. Floraliscious Plus is a kelp mix with humic acids, but it's recommended with Ancient Forest Tea.

I'll probably try that Mag Sulfur mix. Do you usually feed on it's own during a watering cycle, or in conjunction with Nutes?

I feed everyday, a metered amount that is just enough to carry me to the next day at lights on.
I use the Mg and the K sulfate mix's at 10 ml per gallon of feed. IN that nutrient mix.

AACT is applied at each up potting, the flip, and 4 -6 weeks in. That is obviously strain dependent...

Yeah the issue of the Kelp decreasing active bio counts was told to me buy the guy who invented the vortex commercial brewers. I still have my good lab equipment from when I was running the Yew farm..Soo, I did some bio counts of my own to confirm. He's sure as shit right about that!
When I bought my 900 gallon vortex for the farm. We spoke long about organic farming and what my formula's were. He saw one had kelp in it and he asked why, and explained it. I now broadcast kelp meals and turn it in, when field prepping....

The Floro is for adding a bit of NPK?

Add a little Alfalfa meal to the mix.. Say a quarter cup to a 5 gallon batch is the place to start. Increase if you need more NPK value available...Remember that the bio's are "chelating" that. So it's plant available nutrition, directly available for uptake....Also adds to the bio spectrum a bit.

Oh I might as well include this tidbit.

The Potassium sulfate formula..
10% is 382 grams K2SO4 to a gallon of RO. K sulfate (0-0-50 or 0-0-53 is good) with the same DB sugar amount.

Now I've settled in on a 6% solution...."I" use this one.

227 grams of the powdered K2SO4 to the same gallon of water and 1.5 tsp DB sugar. IF, I'm not using BIO AG's TM-7 for the Mn/Fe = increasing THC thing.
I use the fermented molasses at 1 tsp per in this formula...

Each of these are used at 10 ml (2 tsp) per gallon of feed mix....

The 6% formula (with the fermented molasses) is an exact copy of a now defunct organic nutrient makers formula....I loved it but, hated the stupid high price so they explained nicely on the label. Just exactly what is in it and how much. Only takes math to back engineer what you need to make it yourself......:mrgreen:

Both of these are bloom supplements. The K improves bud size and density too...

However! I do use the Mg one in veg (periodically) for a cpl of Mg hog strains I have....

I like the popcorn cup idea! Just paper cups in general over the party cups that so many use.

I know everyone has their preference, but do you like mixing multiple nutes up and having many different bottles around as you needed?
 
If you you're want to get fancy you can mix the dolo lime with equal parts oyster shell flower, better cal mag ratio
 
I find it interesting that the OP initial problem was clearly caused by letting his plants wilt. I have done the same which is why I asked if he underwatered which he had nutrients had nothing to do with it and that’s what everyone is focused on
