Leaves are curling.... Help!

So my plant has been above ground for a week. I'm using advanced nutrients jungle juice gro-micro-bloom, 6.5 oz of each per 12 gallons of water. 400watt hps bulb about 16in from the plant, and on a 18-6 light cycle. Temp is 80 degrees with rh at 30%. The ph is at 5.77. Some pics...

The color of my plant has the healthiest looking green I have ever seen. The clay pellets I have on top stay pretty dry while you have to go about an inch deep to find some moist ones. I'm new to this, so calling me a stupid newbie or something of the sort is quite an obvious remark. Just help please!

Move you light up to 20-24 inches from the plant and cut your nutes in half for the 10 days or so and then slowly start working them up....

Root not getting enough water

I raised my light to almost 23 inches and it seemed to have helped with the dry pellets pick up some moisture which will hopefully makeup for whatever water hasn't made it to the root yet. The Leaves haven't so much straightened themselves out, but are still pretty green. At least some positive results.

Just be patient. And dont worry too much about the top inch or so of hydroton not being wet. The roots will find the water source. When I do DWC I start the water level 1 1/2 to 2 inches below the net pot and the bubbles breaking the surface from the airstone is enough to keep the hydroton moist enough...

So my plant has yellowing at the at the first pedals, and turning lime-green on the tips of the next leaves and within the creases. The third set (I think) are following the same trend.

Since my first couple posts of the thread I have done a couple things. One, I had a fan on it at all times so I turned that off for now starting today assuming possible wind burn. I have not altered my nutes from what was mentioned in the first post since I'm trying to fight it out til I change the water next time. in my attempt to dilute the solution thinking possible nute burn, and wet the top layer of pellets I would pour some 5.7 ph tap water over the top 2 to 3 times a day, but quite since reading Alexander's post on here, thanks by the way.

I am going to post a picture in a bit so you can get a better idea of what I am talking about. This is pretty much the gist for now.

You mean milliliters right? 6.5oz = 192ml x3 (g,m,b) / 12gal = 48ml/gal suggested feed is 8ml/gal and i wouldn't even go 1/4 strength at this point.

Hahaha I did that twice didn't I, and yes I meant milliliters. I went ahead and switched my res today to regular tap water, ph at 5.7, and no nutes since my top leaves were starting to spot as well. I will post pics later to show the outcome.

I'd get that desk fan off it - must feel like a hurricane to a tiny seedling - aim it at the bulb instead to reduce heat.

Actually, these are most definitely seedlings, and the suggested feeding for seedlings is 33ml/100L or 0.33ml per liter. That's roughly 1.25ml per gallon.

So "full" strength for seedlings in 12 gallons would be 15ml each into 12 gallons water. He's under 50% strength, which should be fine.
