Leafing Issue (Maybe)

Hi Guys, probably slight over-worrying like my last post but I just did my checks on my 15 day old plant pair, one (the ice) is perfectly fine.

The other, The lemon Kush, has this small browning over the back part of the first true leaf set (pics attached)

All other leaves and new growths are green, healthy and vibrant. it's literally just the initial node pair leaves on a single lemon kush plant.

Any ideas? Personally, I have a feeling of "leave it be"

haven't watered in... about 3 days. no nutes added to either plant yet. possible water splash & light burn or... vOv

Just seems mysterious to me, thought id best check from some guys more experienced than me first

I'm not going to do what 90% of other noobs do and sit there screaming and panicking. I'm not too fussed as it's literally just that corner section on each initial node for a single plant.

I'll monitor it over the next 48 hours, give it a watering in 6 hours as it seems a lil dry in there, and i'l repost in here if it either gets worse or dangerous for the plant. as it is right now, I see nature taking its course :)

Yep, especially as your other plant looks fine in the same conditions.

Update - Plant is fine, no change. not worried either. seems natural to me.

Soil is now adequately dry to be watered as the lem kush with the leaf issue has a slight droop to her, and the soil is drying fully now (pot is light)

My question now is, when do I add nutes? before or after watering? im up to 16 days old with both plants, kush is at 5 inches high, ice is at 3.5 inches high. was deliberating on topping once the 5th node has fully formed (pics attacked of both) and the soil mix is completely nute-less.

Btw, the leaf *looks* like its been bitten or torn in the first pic, on the lem kush. That's the way it (for some reason) folded over when I moved it during the pics.

My apologies for the gorilla grace when moving the plants lol, although they're a hell of a lot more "springy" than most other plants

UPDATE : Day 20. The ice plant, while slightly thirsty is doing amazingly well and bushing out a tonne after the topping after the 5th node. No issues with anything in regards to this plant.

The lemon kush, which had the two first node leaves damaged, is thriving and doing moderately well. I say moderately as ive noticed an issue (maybe)

New growths at bottom end have a slight brown tip, barely noticeable, whilst the rest of the plant seems perfectly good. STILL no nutrients added yet, In completely nute-less soil, however I feel the plant is now asking me for food. Just the lowest new growths on the first node, all other growths are a-ok.

Advice? Everywhere I look makes the problem look the same. If there even IS a problem...

I would start to add nutes now btw light is food and nutes are supplements.

Why did you top for 10 kolas? Just asking not judging.

im kinda confined in terms of height space. despite the topping, they still grew another 1/2 inch of height since day 16. Getting lovely and bushy for both plants.

may I ask if I f*cked up by only getting the 10 kola amount, or should it have been more? just curious.

have started a light 1/4 feeding as of ten mins ago. thought it was slightly starved, but best to get another's opinion on the matter, thanks

I generally only top for 4 kola's as I find more than that produce small baby sized kola's. Height problems are fixed with LSTIng as topping will produce more kola's BUT the plant will see one kola as dominate and that will grow taller, FIMing spreads the growth in kola's. The only way you can fuck up topping is by topping everything off because you can always top again.

To feed or not to feed that is the question lol.

Nute burn looks terrible but it actually looks worse than it is. So don't be scared because 1 million newbies burn they plants even I burnt the shit out of my plants on my first grow and I fixed it with a flush and bang it was sorted, harvested way to early but it was all grow lessons end of the day.

was aiming for a "cocktail glass" design on the plants, just shift that apical dominance a little, re-distribute those hormones. Trying to even up a canopy using lower shoots aswell as the top, im too "fussy" to FIM, looks a lil scary to me tbh. I'm more of a pinch topper :)

oh, and after seeing a lot of the... noob errors from people lacking the most basic research, I appreciate your tolerance with my questions. It's more of a reassurance thing for me tbh. I'm fine to do the research for months, unlike a lot I see around here lately...

Final update - theyre both doing extremely well. Explosively in fact.

Im up to the 100% dose of my vegging regimen, plants are now 1ft, and have been LST'd for a single flat canopy of kolas on each plant.

When i say what im about to say, i ask that nobody explode. I trimmed all the original king size fan leaves off as they were cusing issues. At the same time i lopped of some nodes that werent going to develop or go anywhere in time. Since doing this "almighty trimmage" the growth has exponentially increased, if i were to put it in a % id guess at 40% extra growth and speed.

In tech terms i think i "defragmented" it. Theyre actually a lil healthier, no condensation buildup, the nodes are able to stretch their lil leaves and actually grow (before, some viable nodes were growing INTO the base of the fan leaves higher and despite LST, they still had issues.

I feel i only have 1 week til i start that 60 day (ish) flowering phase as theyre slap bang where i want them to be with everything being spot on.

Even the clones are thriving ffs and its my 1st grow...

As for lack of pics, my ipod doesnt behave and my house net is dc'd
