HI guys and gals, well into my fifth grow already hard to believe. haven't seen this yet trying to figure out what to do. 2 of my seedlings have a lower leaf with this blotching whole in the top side of the leaf would like to know why . Also I noticed these very tiny bugs running around in the soil undetectable by eye but with the mag glasses I use to look things over with I spotted them barley only because the move so fast . closer exam with a microscope looks like a mite of some kind with six legs couple antenna's with a clear body they move very fast but there not on the plant any where. fearing there spider mite but I think not ? I treated the soil with safe 3 in 1 but doesn't seem to effect them. Last but not least when examining the soil with 30X eye piece watching these little critters here's a long skinny white worm comes popping up straight into the air then retreats back into the soil. weird man !! never see it with the naked eye, worried my roots may be in jeopardy ? . I also think this is coming from a bale of peat moss perhaps that I just started to use in my soil amendment that I think was old ( meaning it was sitting around the garden shop in the rain all year was supper heavy and some green alga film on the outer edge when I opened it . Think I'll toss it now to be safe. Anybody got there 2 cents they want to throw in on whats up here ? and what to try Thanks !! :leaf:leaf problem 005.jpgleaf problem 009.jpg

Looks like a spray component ! Did you give your plant any insecticide lately ? I think if it is the case, it was too strong, not enough diluted ! It happened to me once or twice !

It may also be heat of light :

But I'm not sure, you tell me !! Cheers ! :bigjoint:

Not heat issues using t-5 cfls on my seedlings about 3 inches away , haven't used any insecticides until now on the soil for these micro bugs. has me baffled these are 2 week old seedlings that other wise are perfect. Equally worried about those mite looking bugs in the soil.
