Leaf Edges Curling Upwards

On my overall healthiest and happiest looking plants in veg under MH I'm getting this upward leaf edge curl and not sure exactly what it means? Nutes are fresh, pH 5.8, temp is 75 and light is cooled so it shouldn't be heat. Anybody know what this indicates? Thanks!

no idea what makes these guys say it has to do with moisture. this is a magnesium deficiency I believe. what water do you use? what nutes? ppm? pH?

Try moving your light further away for a day or so. I had the same problem with a White Russian i was growing. Unfortunately i did everything i could at once but pretty sure it was the light because it hasn't happened since.

GH flora's in RO water, 5.8pH, around 600ppm, I did recently reduce from 1000ppm assuming it may be too strong, maybe they liked higher ppm's? Didn't think 600ppm would be too low? But perhaps.....

Light intensity hasn't changed lately, about 3ft below 1000MH, bright but they should be used to it, perhaps a nutrient issue looks like high light/temp?

In my experiences - overwatering is your first culprit when you see this. Try chilling out on your watering for a day or two and just watch it closely. Any time I have had this problem I have just stopped watering for a day or two and the plants came right back to it.

I would check Uncle Ben's sticky though and read for yourself before you decide on this route: https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/150004-plant-moisture-stress-symptoms-solutions.html

Perhaps you were too fast to quote me, or perhaps you just didn't go to the bottom of my post, but I'm pretty sure I clearly put a link to a sticky discussing in detail the issue I thought he may be having. Not only that, but I even suggested he read that thread before he even acts on my advice because it very well could be the wrong thing.

He answered his own question by explaining with further detail what his medium is - 100% perlite. Thus making my advice and any water-retention solutions moot. So, why the need for your post? Not only that, but why should I even have to come back to this thread for no other reason than to "defend myself" because you felt obligated to include my quote in your mixture of what you call bat shit theories?

I gave him advice, a means to further research the advice I was giving him to ensure it will help him in his unique situation, and it was all based on information he gave in his original post. Had he included "it's in 100% perlite" in the original post, clearly I would not have posted what I did. So again, why the need for knocking my post down and calling it a mere bat shit theory?

Hey Hup, you may have been right though, I pulled one out of the pot and even though I'm in perlite some roots were brownish and slimy. In the past it seemed like I couldn't overwater perlite but maybe this strain is more touchy. I appreciate the input.

while your problem may be originating from bad roots, the symptoms is nevertheless showing a mag def. foliar feed with some epsom salt or calmag for a quick fix.
