How bout trying to give 200 Ppms of your cal-mag then about 300 of a pk booster? Since you may have a lot of N stored in the leaves. But then you might want all the trace nutes also? Idk man lol just trying to give you some ideas. Or 200 of pk booster and 100ppms of whatever you use that has trace nutrients? The nutrients will help the ph swing also.

The PH swings was stressing them out to the point that I'm scared they'll hermie, so I did add about 200-300ppms of base nutrient only, no calmag no pk boosters, just trying to get the plants back to the absolute basic neccessities and when they're back on their feet then I'll add the additives? Does this sound right? I checked back on the plants 3-4hrs after adding the small amount of base nutes and the PH stabeled out, thank god. I basically did as you said, but just used their base nute instead of the calmag or ppk booster. I thought the base nute on its own would be better since it's a full spectrum nute instead of just one or the other? Either way, the PH has stabeled out, I'm thinking I should leave them at 300ppms for a couple more days maybe? On a positive note, a lot of clawing on the smallest of the 4 plants has went away! :) I do think that I've, whether it be through a pinhole in the tent or all the stress, caused my plants to try to reveg. Good news is, this late in the flower it should be a quick and easy process to reverse since the stress is eliminated. If we can just avoid nanners and full on ball sacks, we will be good to go. :)

I think you made a good decision. There is more than one way to skin this cat. I think your on the right track Ph fluctuations need to get the fuzzy eyeball... glad you're so diligently watching that. The clawing is a great sign. So it the revenge im thinking. It tells me the nitrogen is getting used up.

On another note... have you ever made Rick Simpson oil?

Thanks for the encouragment man! And no I can't say that I have, what is it? Is it sort of like tea you make to set your plants in, or oil as in like THC oil?

There are a few different oils this is one that you can use your old scraps from harvest. So you can get the most out of your yield. This oil is very strong. I've been told it's close to 90% THC.

So first thing is decarboxilation. I've done it with cured scraps and wet stuff. I'm sure there are opinions on both. Preheat your oven to 230F. Put your scraps on a baking sheet, and bake it for about an hour. During that time take it out, and mix it/crush it up. Do that a few times. So now you have a powdery substance that is decarboxilated. What that means is the THC is activated... the THCA (acid) has been turned into THC. Here is a half gallon of what I'm talking about.

Next is you need to make a tincture out of your cooked dry media. To do this I pour 99% pure alcohol into the jar of scraps. The alcohol will strip away the oil which holds the THC. After a while pour the alcohol through cheese cloth and wringe out the wet material through a cheese cloth. Continue till all you have is a dark brown puddle in your bowl You want this stuff free of chunks or it's a bitch to fill the final containers.

Heres where it can get dangerous. Alcohol is super explosive in a confined space. Some actually think is a good idea to evaporate the alcohol on a stove... dont do that! Or, you might redecorating your kitchen like an arsonist, and you wind up in a burn unit looking like a tatered marshmallow. THEN since it's illegal in some areas you get it from the fuzz.

I simply open a window and point a fan over the bowl and out the window. It takes about a day, but much safer.

So now all the alcohol is gone. If you had high end scraps and enough of it you will end up with a taffy like substance. If I were you, just to make it easy buy yourself syringes, without needles. To fill, take the taffy put it on the stove with a table spoon full of Lethicin. Mix well. Once its incorporated let it cool a bit, mixing from now till your done filling. Just suck up the oil in the syringe. I keep it in the fridge so that the material stays solid.
If making capsules a pipettor works really well
This is kind of a cheesey explanation. If/when you're ready to do it let me know

So you mean that I can use my high quality trim, like sugar leaves? If so, I have so much stored grade A trim up that I could get a nice yield from the process! This is perfect timing too I literally just started looking into making my own oil, I only hadn't because I thought I needed buds to do it and really can't spare any actual bud. But trim I can definitely spare! What kind of alcohol do you use, high proof everclear type alcohol or the isopropyl? Much appreciated brother I've been looking for a good recipe! If I can use trim to do it I'll start gathering the materials today! :)

Oh and I also have literally dozens of 3mL, 5mL, 10mL and even 30mL oral syringes as I use them to dose my nutrients. Can this oil be used to vaporize?

Oh good! I'm glad this will work out for you. So, you can use Everclear, but it has a lot of water in it which is much harder to get rid of. I use 99% pure isopropyl. That way theres only 1% water.

If you want to be able to smoke it, oil like a vape pen, you want nice buds. This just helps you get rid of the crap.

Now for the downside. It takes a TON of dried material to make a little bit, but it's very strong. It's easy to over do it. Make you you try just a little bit before you feed it to friends. For syringes, I put a dab on a piece of bread, maybe 1 and a half pieces of rice to start. I do this everytime, therefore I have something to compare.

So, for materials about a gallon of alcohol for every gallon of dried material.
Cheese cloth, I fold it over 3 times. And that will give me something to squeeze the remaining alcohol out. Syringes, I use 3 ml. see pic.
You will also see a filling plate, which holds 100 half capsules... this is a must. Capsules are already a pain in the ass.
Use the company of the label for capsules but be sure to use the non gelatin variety.

Hope this helps

Yes it helps a bunch, thanks! I've made my own bubble hash with my trim a handful of times now, and it does produce a fairly good product given that I only use trim, but it's not nearly as strong as the THC oil in vape pens or especially the honey colored butane extracted hash. So I've been searching all kinds of different processes of making either full spectrum oil or decent hash to dab with. After this current grow, when I have some extra bud, I am going to use your technique to come up with some good vaporizable oil. :) Wish I could send you some when the time comes haha.

I've never made any sort of hash. I have a rolling tray that seems to like to collect trichomes, so I'll roll a joint that has a ton in it. It's kinda like you said it's not the last word in power.

You may want to stay away from smoking it. I've never heard of anyone smoking it twice. Given the way it tastes, I dont believe it COULD be good to smoke it. I dont think it will hurt you.... give it a try!

I’ve done that a couple time but with buds and would turn into vape oil with these kits from the head shop. And also with one batch I got lucky by turning it into shatter, I let it all evaporate as you do to release all the alcohol then would smear it on parchment paper and put it over the stove on very low for a hour or two

Not sure about smoking the bubble hash, Stl?

That's exactly what I'm hoping I can do Fupa. They'res more recipes for making thc oil than would can count, I'd just like to produce a full spectrum (as in all the cannabanoids from a strain) oil to vape with.

On a positive note, no more leaf growth happening ontop of my buds, and (fingers crossed, knock on wood) no nanners or sacks! I'm thinking that as long as I don't get nanners within the next 2-3 days I should be in the clear, or hope so.
Oh and that's how I usually consume my bubble hash Stl. You can tell that it isn't quite as smooth as well made butane hash or thc oil, it is still pretty good and potent. Best way I've found to use it is just like a dab, put a hunk of it on your nail or whatever sharp metal instrument you have and slowly press it against your red hot quarts or titanium head and rip it through a bong. :) It only works with the higher quality bubble though, the impure greenish color kind is nasty to smoke.

I guess I'm a bud guy. Haha
I've only ever used shit material to make my oil. Better than throwing it away. I was watching TV and ran across a husband and wife who make oil, similar to what I do, but a MUCH higher grade. They had half gallon jars full of good bud and poured alcohol in. Probably close to a QP swimming around in alcohol... I could never do that. Shit, what would it cost if you had to buy it?!
