That's exactly what I'm hoping I can do Fupa. They'res more recipes for making thc oil than would can count, I'd just like to produce a full spectrum (as in all the cannabanoids from a strain) oil to vape with.

This is what I would use to make the vape oil from the Simpson oil being made from the alcohol. That stuff in the little valve is the way it comes their is nothing mixed with it yet...they are pretty expensive imo where I’m from but it’s real easy to do it comes with instructions and comes in different flavors. The flavors are made from terpenes or terpenoids(idk what they are called) of actual strains and they have a no flavor ones also so you can keep your actual bud/trim flavors

I do now lol I’ve wasted a couple batches making edibles and vape oil not knowing it needed to be done when I first started

The people I was talking about that pulled oil out of good bud didnt. They had a name for it. Green oil or something like that, I cant remember, but what a waste.
I still have 2 half gallon jars of material, I'll have to try it your way. I cant imagine smoking what I made.
Heres a shot of where my oil is now. Theres water in it... the lighter colored areas. Water takes much longer to evaporate. Should be done tomorrow, then it's going into syringes

Idk y I said I decarb when making vape oil you shouldn’t need to as the vape will heat it up into thc as when smoking buds or wax would but you should give it a try with at least a little bit of your oil.( if your talking about the shatter I made) Just smear some of your oil on parchment paper and leave the stove top on low, Ive learned that if you put it to hot to rush it then it usually just stays in a taffy form. It could take longer than a hour or two also though but I got lucky once (only tries it 3 times)and got a nice shatter, I actually lost some of it trying to move it to a container because it cracked/popped and chunks/crumbs flew everywhere

Wipeout.

So, here it is. My oil is completely dry. Underheat, I add coconut oil for volume and lethicin for bioavailabilty. Mix it all together and start filling syringes. It's a totally different operation to fill capsules. I got almost 45 3ml syringes when it was all done.

Yeah I definitely hear you on being hesitant to throw beautiful bud in a thing of alcohol or what not...if it makes you feel any better, I've never used real bud to make my bubble hash or the few times I made butane hash. I just used my mid to high grade sugar leaves. And I must admit I still get a pretty good grade bubble hash. It's nice to practically pull all of those trichomes out of thin air, so to speak, or at least in a form that can be pleasantly smoked. I just ordered one of these last night...I've never been a big vaporizer guy, but I'm ready to give it a try.

Just ordered one of these last night as a bday present to myself...cost about 120$, but from what I can tell, it's pretty close in quality to those 300$ volcano vaporizers. In regards to durance and reliability anyways. I've had cheap-o vaporizers for dry herb. but they always spit ash into my mouth and half the time ended up combusting so it's no better than outright smoking it. So hopefully this one will be more pleasant to use.

Nice. I have a vaporizer for flower, I think it's an Atmos ? Not totally sure o havent seen it in a while.. The one you bought looks pretty swanky!

This is a cool thread about someone who accidentally reveged their plants. In the replies, someone explains that some people actually reveg on PURPOSE to see what plants if any may go hermie on them to avoid it happening later in flower. According to this "method", if this doesn't get your plants to go full on hermie, then they pretty much have zero hermie tendencies. I haven't researched this myself, I just came across it and found it interesting!

I dont believe that do anything to show plants with a genetic hermaphodidic(spelling?) tendency, just stressed out plants. I dont know man... sounds kinda silly, but am dyed in the wool skeptic

I think that their point is that, if a plant has a reasonable chance of going hermie, then it will do it during the reveg because of how stressful it is. But that's just what they're saying, for all I know it's complete and total crap lol, so I'm right there with ya Stl. I guess it made me feel better in the sense of 'hey, they've not started throwing nanners yet so maybe I'm in the clear' haha, but it's just me being all confirmation biast.

Thanks for checking in Fupa! So, the latest news is that there still isn't much of any news. I got their PH stable a few days ago by giving around 200ppm's of their base nute. Everyday since, I've been slowly increasing their ppm's by about 50-100 a day. At the moment, they're built up to about 500-550ppms. I was going to do as you and Stl both suggested, and slowly bring them to 600ppms. I figured I would ONLY raise the ppm's above 600 if the PH rises and ppm's drop, as one usually would? They still haven't begun to grow their buds again, but I'm expecting it to take them a bit to catch their breath and return to full on blooming.

So I just realized that the past couple days one of my timers, due to a clumsy screw up I made 2 or 3 nights ago, has been kicking my cmh lights on for about 1 hour in the middle of their dark period...ugh, if I wasn't going to have hermies before I guess my chances just sky rocketed now...oh well, nothing I can do now, I corrected the timer.

Yeah no kidding. Fingers crossed that these are some stable genetics that can handle it.

Maybe I should give them 24hrs dark? From my past 2 hours of internet scouring, the general consensus is that two days of a 1 hour light interruption isn't a huge increase in hermie likelihood, definitely more than had it not happened at all though. I can deal with a few nanners, just not with a thousand of them. If I do get nanners, I'll move said plant into my 3x3 tent to seperate it, but still let it finish flowering.

What did they say about the errant light schedule and shutting down flower? That's what I would be worried about.

Why do you say you'd worry more about that than hermies Stl? From what I've been able to read, as far as the flowering process itself goes, it will require a 3-7 day period to return to a correct flowering phase, just in how long it takes for it to build back up hormones and etc. I'm thinking that, god willing and no nanners, they should be getting some bud swelling in somewhere between 7 to 14 days if no other stressers happen. I've got to get my timer out of my grow tent, it's way too easy to bump into and push pins down by accident ya know. From all I can find, a 2 day incident should be relatively low risk for both hermi'ing and stalling out the flowering process.
