laundry detergent helps with burning?

I am in no way stating that I would use soap at all, just saying its a technique that people who are a lot more advanced in cultivation than I will ever be have used and recommend. Of course, I would read up on it further before I choose to throw Arm&Hammer in with my plants, but just saying, its a valid technique.

Hey, do what you will. But, kid, in life there is one fact you have to face. Don't believe everything you read (or hear). When your pH is out of whack and your leaves curl up, don't come asking for help. Personally, I'd trust Seemorebuds before Jorge. Good luck, though, nonetheless! :peace:

It's true.. a micro drop of dish soap breaks the surface tension of the water, you see it all the time if you've ever washed the greasy dishes. You see a film of grease on the top, add a drop of soap and all of a sudden it disappears like magic.

Now is it necessary when watering your plants, I have no idea. I personally wouldn't want my plants eating soap, but then for other plants you do use 'insecticidal soap' to kill off some forms of fungus or bugs.

Clear dish liquid can be used as a water surface-tension breaker. At a couple of drops per gallon it won't be harmful.
